Great campground. We had a back in site for our travel trailer. No problem getting set up. You enter the campground right off the Blue Ridge Parkway which was neat! Typical Western NC slightly winding gravel road to the campground but not an issue. Just like all the other roads in the area. We went mid week after school started so it was not full which was perfect for us retired folks. Left before the Labor Day rush! Nice private sites, wooded to keep us cool. Bath houses were clean. Whole campground was in excellent shape. Friendly staff & well stocked general store. Lots to see & do nearby We went up Grandfather Mtn, hiked to the lower Linville Falls, walked under the Linn Cove Viaduct. Went to Emerald Village & got us a bucket of dirt! Found a lot of interesting stones! Highly recommend the campground as well as the area & we will be back!

Sites where clean and separated quite well with trees. Only had two problem i had with the two sites we had was the slope. First site the whole site minus where the camper sat, was at a ~20% downhill grade so trying to sit around the fire ring was challenging. We could only sit on one side of the picnic table other wise it would flip due to such a grade. The second site grade was ok, but the fire pit (which could not be moved) was way to close to camper park spot and would fill the camper up with... Read More

Second issue i had is the two sites we had, they was a good bit of poison oak between sites. Mother in law was so concerned that she picked alot of it, afraid our pups would get in it. All in all Great little campground. I would/will Revisite.
