Nice park, nice people running it. Gravel roads and gravel pads are in good repair. More space between sites than average. Didn't use restrooms/showers, so no rating given. So, why not five stars? It's a very nice clean park, with everything as it should be, but it doesn't have some of the things a five-star park would have, such as a pool and other guest activities. Definitely worth four stars. I'd stay there again.
Easy Reservation by telephone. Roomy park with nice shade trees. Full hookups conveniently located. THE UPDATED RESTROOMS AND SHOWERS DO NOT HAVE GRIP ASSIST BARS OR HAND RAILS. I spoke to management and he made it very clear that this is NOT a handicap accessible park. Which is a shame because it is very nice.
Very helpful people. We stayed several days in a nice sized site. Only downside would be lack of handicap shower.
we stayed here twice both were overnights on our way to and from Rapid City South Dakota. What I liked was the phone call from the office staff to ensure we were on our way and approximate time of arrival. We even received fresh vegetables while registering. I would recommend this park if on your way to or from a trip to South Dakota. Everyone was very friendly.
We enjoyed our stay of one night. Only draw back spaces are very close together.
Very poor experience! Owner of the campground was not friendly and neither was the camp host. Planning on staying 4 nights but left after 3 due to owner / host complaining about everything. Leaking water hose on friends camper, one tire parked on grass, stay off pool rope, drove 6mph in a 5mph zone, yelled at kids and said give me your ID. Just wasn't a good experience at all I would look elsewhere. We were not out of line doing what we thought we were supposed to do. Host gives rules and owner... Read More

Well kept place. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy to find off the freeway. We'll stop again.
We stayed one night at Country View Campgrounds. The owner/hosts were very friendly upon checkin and assisted us to our spot. Sites were nice, spacious and level. We did venture to the lake nearby and it was very cool to see. Did not use the facilities and the amenities are good. Will stay here again.
This park is about a half mile off of I-80. Mature shade trees and spacious sites combine to make it a very pleasant place to rest after a day on the road. Almost all sites are roomy pull-thru's, gravel base and quite level. Ours was no exception. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We did not use the restroom/showers, TV or internet. They were done by about 6:30 but by then it was too late to get any more sleep. We wouldn't mind staying here again but would specifically ask for a space on the east side of the park as far from their noisy neighbors as possible.

Super nice staff, nice little antique sales area in main building. Nice sized level gravel sites with full hookups. Shower/restroom is very nice and clean. Only park with a mat on the floor out side of the shower. Also a chair just outside the shower. Nice and thoughtful touch IMO. Park was surrounded by Farmland and corn fields. I love the country settings, out a ways away from the Highways. We would stay here again without hesitation. WIFI was excellent.
This was a nice stop over on way from South Dakota, easy to get in and out, pull throughs are plenty large, cable worked well, did not use the restrooms or other facilities. But the park is clean and well maintained. Would stop again if passing through this area.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great area for shopping needs. Spacious and level campsite and planning a return this October. On our list if ever going through this area.
The view consists of corn fields The sites has little shade and were quite close together. The check in ladies were OK but could have been friendlier. Would not return to this place.
Very well maintained campground, staff super nice and helpfull
Campground is near a Walmart. Ogallala has a Safeway. All gas services available. Many fast food options in Ogallala. Campground itself is very clean. We did not utilize bathroom or laundry facilities this stay. Have in the past and they are well kept. Campground hosts are very friendly and informative.
In the hit and miss game, this place is a jewel. Would appear to have been a KOA at one time. Nice and peaceful. Great place to relax before heading out again. Spent only one night, but would have no problem staying several days.
We stay here often. Off season rate was $21.00 per night. Bathroom facilities were closed for remodeling. Sites are somewhat level, gravel pads with grass for picnic table. Full hook ups. Cable service is adequate ... some disruption of services this stop (could have been weather conditions).
We enjoyed one of day at Country View Campground, It is a great spot for a quick stop for the night it is an easy on and off the highway but far enough away to be secluded. The sites are well organized and easy to enter with large trailers. We did not use any of the facilities so we have no opinions. We will stay here again should we journey that way. Very friendly staff
Friendly Staff
Very convenient to I 80, gas, and groceries. Very friendly staff and great pull through sites and best cable signal. Very clean. We would have liked to have stayed longer.
I stayed there in June of 2016. The park is small but very well kept. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The sites were a little close but extremely long. This is a perfect place to stop and rest for a couple of days. I would stay here again. The price was great!
Located away from the freeway so you do not hear the traffic but still easy to reach this is a great little RV park. Roads and pads are gravel with grass at each site. Restrooms and laundry are clean and easily accessible. Staff is friendly and helpful. Fuel and other services are just minutes away.
Just a overnight stay. Was not impressed, older park needing updating. Rest room/bath was in great need of improvement. Shower stalls had some buckling, the drains were rusted and the cement floor was cracked. And if I want to complain more the cable tv had some static. I really don't like giving any kind of a review but I feel this might help. On a good note the staff was very nice and especially the older gentleman that guides you to your space he was very helpful.
We camp here several times a year when visiting family in the area. It's an older established campground with mature trees for shade. Each site has a gravel pad with grass. Picnic table is provided. Bath house is clean. We have not used laundry facilities. There is a nice in ground pool. WalMart is nearby. Free cable and wifi.
Good place to stay. Off the highway. Farm-like setting - no cement pads. Very friendly folks run the place. Would definitely stay there again.
What a pleasant park to spend the night or even longer. The laundry area is very clean and centrally located. The restroom is secure and very clean as well. The park has trees and the sites are all drive through. The park is close to the main freeway but is very quiet at night, We are planning on returning to this site in the fall when we head South for the winter.
What a little Gem in Ogallala. I stayed twice, Once on my way out to Lincoln and on the return trip. All the spots are Huge. It was a great place for an overnighter.
We spent one night here on our way to Black Hills. It was convenient to highway, gas stations, and food. The campground was clean and well maintained. All pull-through sites. Not many trees. Bathrooms appeared clean and the cable worked well. It was quiet even though close to town. A nice stopover. Would stay again if in the area.
