Very quiet nestled in the foothills of Mt Greylock. Sites are of generous size and owners are very accommodating. I liked my stay so much I booked for the following weekend!
The best part of this campground is its location. It is the closest campground to the Mt. Greylock State Park and has good access to local towns. The campground is quiet and has large sites. The owners were very nice and welcoming We camped towards the end of the season which may account for some problems. The issues we found is that 1) they say each campsite has grey water connections but we found this to be a stretch. Our site had a pcv pipe in the ground away from the electric and water connections.... Read More

The issues we found is that 1) they say each campsite has grey water connections but we found this to be a stretch. Our site had a pcv pipe in the ground away from the electric and water connections. We have over 30 feet of sewer hose and it couldn't reach the pipe from where we had to set up our RV 2) the bath houses were not cleaned during our stay and the men's toilets went without toilet paper for 3 days, and 3) the dump station was in poor condition as there was no way to secure the sewer pipe to the outlet (I had to stand on it to prevent the hose from disconnecting).
Again, these may have been end-of-year problems but they diminished our experience with the campground.

The owners have taken over a neglected old campground and have worked tirelessly to modernize it and make it a great place to stay. This was our second stay and the changes were evident including the new laundry facility. They were helpful napping the best route to get us to our large back-in site and throughout our stay they were so nice and helpful. I would dare say they strive to go above and beyond. The site was clean, comfortable, large and shaded with 20, 30 and 50 Amp connections available plus fresh and grey water. Live music on Friday with a local band which we could enjoy from our motorhome.
The price is really within the range of a state park which makes it a great value. I am hopeful that when they get the campground to where they want it to be they will still be able to keep such affordable rates.
