We spent a week in Las Cruces and really enjoyed our time at Sunny Acres, the park is really well kept and has a nice dog park. The location is excellent for sightseeing around southern New Mexico, lots of great food options and things to do in town. The old Mesilla village was especially interesting with lots of historical buildings and nice shops.
Sunny Acres is a good stop in Las Cruces. We have stayed at other places in Las Cruces, but I like Sunny Acres because, while it was close to the attractions, it was a quiet park. The abandoned buildings near the entry of the park, gave us caution, but we had no problems while we were there for our one night stay. Check in was so easy and I must mention that the woman (sorry I don't have her name) was so efficient that she quickly checked in the three of us that showed up at the same time and... Read More

It was impressive. The sites were generous, with grass, gravel and a concrete patio. The park was very clean and the staff helpful. The park also has a storage facility on site. The more we visit Las Cruces, the more we like it. It is in close proximity to City of Rocks State Park, Deming attractions, Avenue de Messila and other attractions for day trips.

No issues getting to the park. Be careful though, it is easy to miss. Interior roads and sites are gravel. Interior roads were plenty wide for us to back our 45' Class A into the site. Be sure to park in the very middle and not all the way back. The sprinklers will get rusty water on your RV. Staff was awesome and friendly. Nice pickle ball court. Nice little park, we would stay here again.
Great campground, spent here 6 weeks, while out truck was being repaired. Nice sites, most of them with trees and grass, friendly staff, excellent internet and stable power supply. Quite a few long timers, all of them very friendly and helpful. Great place to spend a night or a year.
Great park! there are some extended stays but their sites are well kept. Our spot EE was a pull-thru, FHU. Level and spacious. Restrooms and showers were the best I've seen, Friendly staff.
We have stayed at this park several times. The wide roads and large pull-thru sites with grass and trees make the park big-rig friendly and comfortable. We had no trouble with our 38' 5th wheel. They do have some closer-together sites at the back that are gravel. These are OK for a night or so. While we did not use the laundry on this trip, the facility is clean and well-maintained. The wifi is good. We will return to this park any time we stay in Las Cruces.
Stayed here one night passing through heading east.. Nice park and large spaces which is nice to see. Got the last spot in the park pull through beside an old shed. That was OK....Never used the facilities but from what I saw the park was well looked after.....Actually the quietest park we ever stayed in....that was so nice. Not in the nicest part of town but for the night it was good. Would stay there again if passing through.BT
A regular stop when traveling to winter spot. Convenient in and out. Well maintained.l
Friendly staff and good level sites.
We've stayed at this facility a number of times. Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Easy to find. Ease in parking. Close to food, fuel and shopping.
We were received with warmth and "open arms". Made us feel at home even though we never have had the privilege of staying before. We received their last site for the night and it was well maintain, clean and quiet. We would be honored to stay again. Thanks.
We did not have reservations but saw the park from the highway and pulled in. Liked what we saw so checked in for 2 nights. After the first night we so enjoyed this park that we extended another night. Would haveeven stayed longer but had to get on our way. Except for the sites in the very rear of the park, all of the sites had cement pads with grass yards. Very wide streets and very quiet, did not hear the highway at all. The rec hall has several tables, which we used to play games, all kinds of puzzles, games, books and the laundry facilities. The bathrooms were very clean and all were individual rooms. Very friendly staff. We liked the park so much that we are going back next year for 5 days on our southwestern trip. We are from Palm Springs, CA and stayed in our travel trailer.

Park owners are super nice, most of park is filled with long term residents. Area is kept clean and is quiet. Pet friendly though no dog run. There is a club house, laundry and club room though I did not use the facilities. There is a pickle ball court with all of the items needed to play. (Owners are avid players). Pull through was mostly level. Owners have been adding gravel to sites to further level them. Streets are very wide so no problem maneuvering. I would return to this park.
This was a first time stay. Registration staff were very friendly and helpful in sharing sightseeing ops. Interior roads were graveled and two-way, pads were also graveled, grassy areas and a picnic table was provided. It is off a four lane road, trees and other structures "muffle" the noise. There are many sight seeing opportunities. We had a short stay, so were not able to do many. We would stay again.
We are full-timers and stayed here for over 2 weeks to have some repairs done to our rig. The park was clean, quiet, dog-friendly with a nice fenced off-leash area, and the staff was very helpful when we needed them. The laundry facilities were small and not all the washers and dryers worked all the time but it was acceptable for our needs and there are laundromats close by. The only complaint we had was spotty Wifi so plan on using your hotspot. We did not use restrooms or showers.
Very nice little park. Didn't use any of the facilities, but the office and the park is definitely welcoming. The people are very nice too.
This is our second time at this campground. It was just an overnighter for us this time, but we wouldn't stay anywhere else if we're passing through the Las Cruces area. This time we had a very easy-in, easy-out pull through right next to the office. The level, gravel sites are nice and wide. We had a shade tree on this one. We had to pick up some groceries and didn't have to unhitch the car. The grocery store is less than a block away. If you want to go out for dinner, there's a good brew... Read More

If you want to go out for dinner, there's a good brew pub, High Desert Brewery, that's about half a mile away. The food is very good, the people are friendly, and the drinks are excellent. My husband had the beer and I had a root beer which they make on premises.

Park is clean and well-maintained. Sites are available for long, towing RV units and are level with FHU's. Cable TV available with Internet access at site. Close to shopping and restaurants and local historical sites. i would stay here again when in the area.
Way overpriced for what you get unless you have value for trains throughout the night time. Spaces are poor laid out for sewer, and water hook up, and your neighbors are 10' feet away. Yes that's right you hear their conversations and other noises.
This is a very nice RV park. Sites are spacious and level. They are gravel, but most have grass where the table is. There are no trees in the back row of sites, but most of the sites in the park do have shade trees. Utilities worked fine. We didn't use the Wifi so I can't tell you how that worked, but we had no trouble with our AT&T cell phone and hotspot. Extensive cable channels. The laundry is clean and the washers ($1.25) and dryers ($0.25 for 10 minutes) worked fine. The laundry is... Read More

The laundry is in a room off of the clubhouse, so you can read, do jigsaw puzzles, or work on your computer while waiting for the wash to get done. The dog park is a large, fenced in grassy area with shade and several places for their humans to sit. There was a bad thunderstorm with lightning and hail while we were there. There were places in the park that had a few inches of water, not enough to call a flood, but it didn't stop cars from getting in and out. That night and the next morning the workers had sump pumps going, and that did a good job of clearing up the standing water.
