Stayed at the Cheyenne KOA for 5 nights. The park is extremely clean and well-maintained to the point of looking new. Easy access to highway (off I-80 and close to I-25) and Cheyenne. Our site was on the highway side but felt the road noise was minimal and able to sleep without any issues. There are train tracks to the east of the park but never heard them. The staff were very personable and professional. The spaces were nicely laid out and the park was not cluttered. The few long term residents... Read More

The staff were very personable and professional. The spaces were nicely laid out and the park was not cluttered. The few long term residents kept their sites in very good order. The amenities were in good shape and plentiful and there are an exceptional number of dog stations, a good dog park and nice to have grass around the perimeter of the park for dogs with sensitive paws.
The WiFi is good, no cable, and a limited number of over the air stations. Strong cellular (T-Mobile and Verizon at 3 bars). The utilities were laid out nicely and had nice little lights that lit up your site and part of the street which was a bonus. The only negative was the water pressure was often less than 30 psi. Would definitely stay here again.

Spent one night here in and would definitely come back. It was very near I-80, but didn't get a lot of noise from the highway. We drive a 40 Class A with a tow vehicle. We fit into a pull-through without problem and the sites were level. Staff was friendly. Our experience with KOA's is they try to make money off anything and everything. This one was not that way which we very much appreciated. Did not look in the restroom so didn't rate that.
Very nice park. Clean and well maintained. Easy access from I-80, but you do hear occasional semi noise. Will return for another visit, and recommend park for RVers.
We have a 40 ft class A with tow car. Easy access in and a wonderful KOA Park. Friendly helpful staff, we had a pull thru and lots of room didn't have to unhook and wide for slides. Gravel sites, Full hook up 50 amp nice pool, lil putt putt course. The dog park is convenient and clean plus the horseshoe pit is right there to play while watching dog. I would definitely stay again. Nice little store on site too.
Right by the interstate. Lots of road noise. They were also less than accommodating when inclimate weather forced us to adjust our stay. We tried to book the alternate day with them first but they had no availability. They refused to refund our deposit because we were outside the 48 hour window. I would not recommend this site. Every other campground that we had to adjust we're more than accommodating. When severe weather forces campers to adjust AND they attempt to rebook with the same KOA manage... Read More

This is a typical KOA. We stayed two nights. Our pull-through site was gravel and level. The dog park was just ok. It was small and had prairie dog holes which were a huge distraction for my dogs. It was easy to get to and the people were extremely friendly. There were plenty of things to do close by: huge dog park at the dog shelter, shopping at Sierra Trading Post, restaurants, grocery stores. The internet was the best thing about this place! We were parked next to a hot spot and it was great!... Read More

We would recommend for an overnight stop.

The only reason I even gave this place 3 stars was the staff was really nice. Everything else about this place made me want to tell you not to stop here. It is truly not representative of a KOA facility. It is barren and the noise from being right on the highway is awful. The showers are like being in a space capsule. I have arthritis and could not even bend over they were so small. The water pressure was pitiful and they were poorly vented. They were not attached to the bathrooms and only... Read More

I have arthritis and could not even bend over they were so small. The water pressure was pitiful and they were poorly vented. They were not attached to the bathrooms and only had one tiny stool making them very inconvenient. The small driers in the laundry did not dry my clothes and left brown and black marks on them. Skip this place and find another and you will be much happier!
