Have stayed here several times. Have always found it to be very clean and well maintained. Owner puts in long hours to ensure visit is a good one. Highly recommend this resort for short or longer term stay.
We stayed at this park on our way to Thunder Bay and then again on our way back because of the hospitality received previously. I am sorry I didn't get our Hostesses name but she was very friendly, open and welcoming, she spoke to me as though I were an old friend coming to visit. The park was clean, the site spacious with enough natural green growth around you to really help you relax and enjoy nature. We had a good stay here the host was friendly and the site is well treed. We ended up in a backin because the pull thru's did not have sewer connections. Wi-fi was good, it is close to the highway but still quiet.
Terrible service, got in trouble for going around the house when I thought it was the office, DOESNT EVEN HAVE A SIGN, the washrooms smell terrible and look like they haven't been tended to in about 30 years, the owners here are VERY rude, will never come back again and suggest no one else does, these owners don't know how to treat a customer at all, this place is a dump. I would put 0/5 stars but sadly I have to put atleast one :/
This park is a regular stop for us any time we travel through. It was late in the season this year and this park is one of only a few that is open along the north shore. Although listed as open til Oct 31 weather sometimes will affect that date and a confirmation call is advisable say after mid October.
Friendly, helpful owner. We changed our itinerary more than once and were accommodated with no problem. Of course, it helped that the campground was not booked solid.
