Got there after hours and office was closed. there was a a box with envelopes and one with our reservation info containing gate code and space location. this was our first stay here. there website specifically stated that 1st time guests would receive a 20% discount. HOWEVER when checking out I was offered a 20% discount the NEXT time I stayed there. The review dates only go back to Oct.2018. We were there 21 Sept.2018. I don't like to be lied to so I won't stay there again unless I get a 40% discount.... Read More

This park was disappointing. The photos and promotional material viewed online is not an accurate representation of this park. The facilities are old. The restrooms were clean but need updates/repairs. The atmosphere was most disappointing from language to ATV noise after quiet hours. It was not a family friendly place it was a party place. There was an issue at the pool and a person who represented the park was unprofessional. Consciencedientally after we complained we got a notice for a... Read More

No other vehicles near us with permits not displayed received a notice. This was annoying and speaks to the atmosphere of the park. The river beach access was packed (it was a holiday weekend) and there was minimal kids friendly amenities. There are two swings near the river and one toddler friendly piece of play equipment. The river was busy and noisy.

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Initial impression of the park is not impressive but once into the park it improves. Gravel site was even and level. Hookups are at mid-site so longer cables and hoses are needed. Cable TV was good. Did not use WiFi. River front was very pleasant. Park did not seem very dog friendly. Restrooms and showers were immaculate.
Wow, was I surprised. This is one of the few RV Resorts that I wouldn't mind paying full price ($40)! (ok, yeah, I'm cheap). Super friendly helpful staff, nice comfy spots, RIGHT on the Colorado River with plenty of chairs, hammocks, CLEAN beaches. Super dog friendly, and that's important. I can even take my dog on the beach! Everyone is super friendly and considerate, well laid out, great pool & Jacuzzi, lots of fun stuff to do. Right before I had to leave they had a craft thing where we built... Read More

Right before I had to leave they had a craft thing where we built spinners with beads and stuff (It sounds really tacky, but it was fun and they're cute!), they have bonfires and happy hours, and all sorts of great stuff. Great Cable service, their internet is nothing to write home about... I do have to say that. I will be BACK!

We stayed only one night but found this to be a very nice RV park. The park is located right on the Colorado river and has plenty of spacious pull through sites. Most (but not all)of the river front sites were taken when we were there but it was easy to walk down to the river side to walk or fish. Maybe the cleanest rest rooms I've ever seen and they have weekly entertainment in the club house. Oh and I almost forgot to mention, they have oranges growing right in the park and they are delicious! Read More

We stayed 1 night passing through the area. The park is a few miles from I-10 (Exit 1: Frontage Rd). The road from I-10 to the park is 2 lanes wide and paved. When we arrived in the early afternoon, the office was closed. Had to select a site from the few choices left at the office in the self registration station. The best route to the site or had to access the site was not marked on the map. Once through the gate, there is a steep slope down into the park. The sites are a mixture of... Read More

The sites are a mixture of back-ins and P/T's. Extended stay sites seemed to be mixed between the back-ins and P/T's. The interior roads and site parking pads are compacted gravel. The interior roads are narrow with some tight turns. There were bushes and trees encroaching on the site access. The parking pads are narrow as well. The P/T sites were long enough for coaches & their toads. This park doesn't completely understand the simple concept of the importance of a flat, level site as some of the sites had a slight pitch potentially creating a leveling problem. Generally speaking the "Standard" parking pads are not level. Distance establishes privacy between the sites but they were close to each other. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were towards the middle of the sites. The sewer connection was elevated above the ground making it difficult to establish a downhill flow. Don't remember there being an outside table. No fire pits at the sites.
There are a few trees scattered around the park so satellite reception would be dependent upon site assignment and your dish configuration. The park brochure didn't show any cable or broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels.
The park provided WiFi was good. But only a few of the sites were occupied. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. Didn't try the NET10 phone so don't know about the reception.
No designated fenced pet area and grassy areas were off limits. But there was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park roads. No bag dispensers and waste collection stations around the park but there were dumpsters available for waste.
We would probably adjust our travel plans to avoid having to stay in this area as there isn't much to choose from in the area.

We appreciate your in depth review and wish to let you know about improvements made by the new ownership . A pet area is being installed as of this date. We have a manned front desk from 9am to 5pm Monday-Sunday. Nine Palms trees have been planted along with a new fire-pit on in the rear center of the beach. The heated pool has even been resurfaced. Please come back and visit as more updates are being made such as picnic tables and Rental units.
