We were surprised, it was not a winery, at least any longer. The Resort looks good, the upper pool beautiful lower one with ducks swimming in it. The views were outstanding and our walks were as well in the desert. The Internet was the worse ever. The truck wash was broken with no signs of being fixed. We will return to Pahrump but look for another place.
We stayed 2 nights to make a day trip into Death Valley NP. The park is located on the outskirts of town requiring a drive through a residential area along 2 lane paved roads. The park is located on the outskirts of town requiring a drive through a residential area along 2 lane paved roads. The transition from the city streets to the park required negotiating a significant grade change posing a scraping hazard. Then a climb up a single lane paved entrance road to the registration parking area. Then yet another climb up to the site area passing over several speed bumps.
The park was built on a significant slope. There was an attempt to tier the sites level but not all of them appear level. The interior roads are paved and sites are gravel. The roads and turns were negotiable. There was a mixture of pull through and back in sites. The P/T sites were long enough for larger coaches with their toads attached. Sites had sufficient room for opening slides. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were at the rear of the site requiring parking at the rear of the site to reduce hose/cable runs. The sewer connection was at the ground level so it was easy to establish a downhill flow. Distance and gravel areas establish privacy between the sites. There was not an outside table or fire pit. There seem to be some long term residents.
There were a few trees scattered among the sites so satellite reception was dependent on site assignment. The park did not provide cable TV and there was no information about broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels.
The park provided WiFi was "meant for casual use only; emails and light browsing" so we didn't try to use it. It was password protected. Our Verizon WiFi hotspot worked well. Didn't try the NET10 phone so don't know about the reception.
There was fenced pet area in a corner of the park. The ground cover was small pebbles and artificial grass. There was a bag dispenser and waste collection station in the park. There was adequate space along the park's road to exercise a dog but there were no bag dispensers and waste collection station around the park.
We didn't use the restrooms, showers, laundry room pool or hot tub.
If we returned to the area, we probably would stay at another park in town.
TIP: We were invaded by a pack rat in the engine compartment of our 41' MH within hours of settling in. Discovered later, it appeared the pack rat made it into the engine compartment of toad as well.

Wine Ridge is located about a mile off the main highway and about 3 miles from the center of the town of Pahrump. We have quiet, upscale residential neighborhoods surrounding us on two sides and over 350,000 acres of BLM surrounding us on the other two sides. Wine Ridge Resort features unobstructed views across the Spring Mountain National Recreation Area which is crowned by 11,900' Mount Charleston. We are located at an altitude of 2850' and there is an easy, gentle grade up to the resort. We aren't aware of any rig-scraping issues in getting to, entering or traversing our resort. We do have two speed bumps upon entering the resort past our security gate and the maximum speed within the resort is 5 mph.
All the RV sites in our resort are gravel, plumb level and each has a 6'x12' concrete patio. Our roads are paved. We have a pull-through row with approximately 20 sites and five more rows containing a total of approximately 100 sites.
We are located in the high desert and our trees and shrubs are relatively small and do not providing much shade. On the plus side, rarely do we hear of any guests having trouble with trees blocking their satellite signal. We do not provide cable tv connections at our sites as we get about 15 over the air local TV channels and we think satellite TV is most likely the (near) future of digital entertainment.
Speaking of the future of digital entertainment and communications, the internet and WiFi at our resort has always been free to our guests and we plan to keep it that way. We are currently working with our internet provider to increase our bandwidth availability an we are planning to also upgrade our WiFi systems including the installation of additional WiFi towers within the resort. In the interim, if our guests need to perform large data transfers or wish to stream videos, movies, TV, live sports, etc., we strongly recommend that they bring their own personal hotspots to achieve optimum internet speeds. The location of the resort high on a ridge above the town of Pahrump gives us pretty good reception for most if not all the mainstream 'hotspot" data providers (AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, etc.). We also think that the use of personal hotspots for large data transmission requirements such as file downloading and video streaming, etc., are probably the future of the Internet rather than having to rely on the unknown security safeguards of WiFi systems provided by hotels, resorts, restaurants, coffee shops, etc. Personal hotspots with unlimited data are quickly becoming a great, highly secure Internet connectivity solution for RVers on the go.
We're glad you got to check out our "Bark Park." We welcome all good and peace-loving dogs and, as you noted, we do have bag dispensers and waste collection station at the dog park which is conveniently located in the northwest corner of the resort a short stroll away from the RV sites.
We hope next time you visit with us that you'll try our restrooms, showers, laundry room pool and hot tub. We strive to keep them sparkling clean and fresh and we are proud to have achieved a solid "10" rating on our restrooms from Good Sam over the past 6 years.
Sorry to hear about that naughty pack rat! Are you sure he wasn't a stowaway that hitched a ride? We often see rabbits, hummingbirds, and an occasional Road Runner in the resort. And sometimes we hear the coyotes at night. But we can't recall ever having any trouble with pack rat visitors here!
We hope you'll come see us again.
Until then, wishing you safe travels!

Visited a freind who stays here year round. RV spaces are gravel with a concrete pad on the door side of your RV. My site was very easy to back into and set up. All sites are level, did not need to level RV. Host was very freindly. Rest rooms and pool were very clean. Sites have small trees that will provide more shade as they age. Will visit again.
So glad you got to visit with us and thanks for the "two-thumbs up" review! Safe travels and we hope to see you back with us again soon. The Wine Ridge Team
