We stayed here for a week In March 2020. Never saw the owner or any employee the entire time. We were instructed by phone to pick up and fill out our paperwork on the front porch of the house and leave a check in the mailbox. Our paperwork reflected our lot number. This is a very bare bones campground. Because it rained the whole week, we never checked out the bathrooms or laundry facilities so can't comment on that. The campground has potential but is very outdated. It's obvious there has been no attempt to upgrade. The utilities were primitive, ie a hose with a fixture on it coming up out of the ground for city water instead of any type of hydrant. The lots are not that big and the entrance is down an incline. But by far, the biggest negative is the noise. The traffic is loud and busy and because the campground is in an industrial area, the noise produced by 24 hr businesses is the worst. There is a Tyson plant next door. Loud banging starts about 6 am and lasts all day. Apparently when grain trucks come in to dump their loads, workers pound on the sides or bottom to get all the grain out. One night, there was an extremely loud buzzing, alarm type of noise. Even with earplugs and a pillow over my head, I could not sleep. It didn't stop until 6 am. After a week, we were both exhausted from lack of sleep. We will never stay there again, even though the location was handy to relatives in the area. Fayetteville is lacking in RV campgrounds, but we will drive 30 min to the next closest one next time. I cannot recommend this campground for the outdated, noisy environment for $38/night, $34 with Good Sams membership. $170-190 weekly rate. I don't know why Good Sams rates this campground as high as they do.

Stopped by this park (2nd today) to inquire about rates and availability. No one in the office (at 1pm on a Sunday afternoon). Called their number from the parking area and the gentleman answered and said he was out mowing. He was pleasant enough, however, the park is dreadful. No designated site boundaries. Unkempt, weeds, growth, very messy long term sites. The finale straw was the notes all over their office door, reminding people to LOCK YOU CARS AND DOORS ! Not the message or impression... Not the message or impression I want when staying at a park for a few days. Would NOT recommend. Wonder how some of these locations become Good Sam recommended RV Parks ????

Wish I would of checked this campground out more before staying here. We have been camping since 1988 and this is the second worse campground we have ever been to. Never saw the manager or any staff. First site we were assign was a mix of gravel and two different levels of concrete that was broken up. Two drive ways, one which we were not to use, but didn't know until we were in. A chain would have been nice, really tweaked our rig. Beware.

We arrived here at just after 6pm on a Thursday evening, and there was no one in attendance. We have two small 4x4 vehicles with no utility hookups, and parked up on what I thought was one pitch. The owner came around the next morning and tried to charge us at full RV rate on both vehicles, a total of $64! I explained that we only had two small 4x4's with no hookups, and as such, it was not fair that he should charge both vehicles at full RV/hookup rate! The owner and I argued for quite some time,... I explained that we only had two small 4x4's with no hookups, and as such, it was not fair that he should charge both vehicles at full RV/hookup rate! The owner and I argued for quite some time, and I could not believe the guy's audacity and reams of excuses to charge so much for what was essentially a gravel parking space for one night. Eventually to his credit, he agreed to knock $15 off the price, however even with this concession, that still makes it the most expensive campground we have ever had the misfortune to stay at. What irritated me more was that had there been someone in attendance when we arrived, this would never have happened. I feel the owner fully took advantage of us because we had already stayed the night on goodwill - which is terrible business practice. I have never stayed at a site where I've felt so ripped off. As far as the site goes, it's spartan, and the bathhouse facilities leave a lot to be desired. For RV's, maybe the place's pricing is not so bad, but avoid like the plague if you're a tent/4x4 camper.

Upon arrival, at 2:15 PM there was NO attendant on duty. I called the owner who said just leave money in the box on the porch of the house. There was only one site available with full hook up. NO cable TV without a converter box. I called the owner again who said his daughter would bring me one in a few minutes. When the daughter showed up with the box at 8:15 PM she stated she was at her second job. This is not a year round park unless you are a long term resident of the park. The bath house/restrooms,... Desperation would be the only reason we would stay here again. Called the park requested a pull thru, it was not a pull thru. We had to disconnect our toad. Advertised internet service was non-existent, the two uni-sex bathrooms were inadequate, dirty, and one had a washer and dryer in the room: an unacceptable situation!!. The field in the rear was littered with dog feces. Do not patronize this place! Good Sam must return and reevaluate this pitiful place
