Military Discount
No one here to register. I don't carry a lot of cash and I'm sure they don't want Canadian cheques. No visa nor MasterCard. No wifi, no toilet codes, no trees, no shade, no goodsam discount, no reason to be here except adjacent RV parks were just the same. Does anyone work in Quartzite?
We did an overnight stay and found the facility very clean and neat. Carla at the desk was accommodating and cheerful, very pleasant stay. Showers were a nominal charge, but very clean. No cable
We stayed 1 night while traveling through the area. The park is on the main multi lane city street (N Central Blvd or HWY 95 N/AZ-95) which runs through town posing a potential turn hazard. The office is located in the center of the park which required backing up to turn onto the road to the site or going around the park. The interior roads are paved. The interior roads and turns seemed sufficient to maneuver larger RV’s but didn’t get into the back of the park. The sites are a mixture of... Read More

The office is located in the center of the park which required backing up to turn onto the road to the site or going around the park. The interior roads are paved. The interior roads and turns seemed sufficient to maneuver larger RV’s but didn’t get into the back of the park. The sites are a mixture of back-ins and pull thrus. The P/T sites were long enough to say connected to a toad. The parking pads are gravel. The sites were generally level and flat. They have full hook ups – water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The utility connections were located at the rear of the site requiring a decision between long runs of hoses/cables or use of the patios. The sewer connection was at the ground so it was easy to establish a downhill flow. Sites had sufficient room for opening slides. Distance established privacy between the sites. Concrete patios varied by site. Outside tables were not provided. Open or ground wood fires were prohibited. There were extended stay sites.
There were a few trees scattered throughout the park so satellite reception would be dependent upon your site and dish configuration. The park information didn’t mention anything about cable (not provided) or OTA broadcast channels. Didn’t try to get any broadcast channels. Used the DISH network portable dome dish.
Didn’t take up the offer for the park provided password protected WiFi so don’t can’t say anything about the service. Didn’t try the NET10 phone or WiFI hotspot so don’t know about reception. On the park’s website, the “free” WiFi was limited to 1 hour during a 24-hour period. Additional access was available for purchase.
There was a designated “dog run” on the park map but didn’t see it. Didn’t see any bag dispensers or collection stations for waste in the park. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park’s roads.

This is a great option as a place to get off the highway during the summer heat. We drove late into the night to avoid dangerous heat during the day so pushed ourselves to 1am. We were the only ones in the park so did not disturb anyone upon 1am arrival. Conveniently located close to I-10 but far enough away so that it was quiet. During the summer it is self check in and they have 5 pull through sites reserved for us late night travelers. We were thankful to have this easy off the highway option... Read More

During the summer it is self check in and they have 5 pull through sites reserved for us late night travelers. We were thankful to have this easy off the highway option and at a reasonable rate of $25.00 for full hookups, tax included, no others discounts, this is reasonable.
Gas and services close by so convenient to gas up and get back on the highway. Regular gas at $3.09 a relief from the tax hell California has become.

Overall the park was quiet and clean. Small fenced pet area. Laundry looked nice, although we didn't use it. You do have to pay for showers, and the local TV/internet service is spotty at best. If you have satellite, reception is good. We used our Verizon hotspot, but that was slow. This is the first Good Sam rated facility that we've stayed at that a discount was not given so, you might want to clarify if you will receive a discount when you make reservations.
First visit to Quartzsite area, nice facility, escort to site, all garvel, no shade. Great restroom/showers and laundry facility. Very few things open for business in area after season.
This is a clean, safe, comfortable place to stay. Staff makes it as enjoyable as the facilities. Activities for those who want, quiet for those who don't. Led to our site over paved tracks to a level, roomy, gravel site beside a concrete patio. No TV or WiFi to speak of, but good radio station. Friendly, respectful long termers and pet owners. Limited shade. This will be our first choice stop every time we're in the area.
Love this park! Stay a couple of months every year. Always clean. Great activities! Very friendly people. Will return every year!
