Great place for an overnight, I've stayed three times on my way through from Texas - GA. Friendly staff, easy to get to location. Nice size sites, level. A few places nearby to eat. It's a basic place with long-term folks there but they're quiet. A little street noise but since it's not off in the woods, that's just the way things are. I enjoy my visits.
Like someone else said 90% fulltime renters. We have been rving for 25 years and the few sites for overnite confused us as to which direction we should pull into the site. They look like two rv's should be opposing each other but they don't look wide enough for two rv's. The shower/restroom is really nice. If you need to talk to someone at the park you phone them they do not man the park.
Please take into consideration that Good Sam requires 10 sites minimum for over nite sites. Being as we are not located in a vacation destination area, our over nite travelers use our park as a stop over en-route to their final destination. Our other sites are for those who have work or go to school in the area. My over nite sites do have double sided pedestal hook-ups, but I never put two RV's at one pedestal to avoid over crowding. Having two sides to one pedestal comes in very handy... Read More

Having two sides to one pedestal comes in very handy if an RV may (very rarely) need to plug into the opposite side. Due to COVID, I do work out of my home office some days but I can always be reached as I have my phone with me at all times. Thanks for the positive feed back regarding our laundry/shower facility. Joe works very hard to keep it very clean/sanitized for our customers. He also goes thru the park daily to make sure the grounds are kept clean as well. Thanks for staying with us and thanks for your review.

Very clean facilities, PET FRIENDLY & well kept grounds ? We absolutely loved it here!!
THANK YOU!
I would like to see GS come up with an designation identifying rv parks that have 90% full time RVs. This one is like that, more like a trailer park, with a few camping spots. The one night I was there, one of the full timers, with loud muffler on his truck was racing back and forth in the middle of the night. The one helper was not very friendly.
I was concerned by the low Good Sam rating, but since it was the only GS Park in the area, we opted to stay there. The Park was right on the road, but not a problem unless you are parked near the entrance or exit - we were. (Ask for a site further into the Park and I think you would rate it higher!) The wifi was typical. The Park was clean. The sites were fairly level, really very close together & the trash bin was not easy to locate. There were a lot of dogs -ours included -so watch where you walk! There is a fast food eatery right across the street and the local police seemed to be waiting there for speeders, etc. Despite their proximity, it was not a problem. (I think the thunder and lightning drowned them out!) The locale around the Park was very pretty and "very Louisiana" - meaning beautifully green! This is a good spot for a night or more. It is family friendly and quiet. We would stay there again. We did not use the laundry or showers, so we cannot rate those.

We stayed here on our way to Houston, TX. Reservations are made by phone with self-check-in on arrival (site number is provided at the time of the reservation). It appears you also can register upon arrival if you don't have a reservation. A phone is provided in the office area. The site we were assigned was a pull thru (most sites are back-in sites). It was level and mostly gravel which I liked; less dirt to track into our 5th wheel. The main building was an office area, laundry and 2 large... Read More

The 2 bath/shower rooms consisted of a very large shower, toilet, sink and chair. The bath/shower rooms were very clean and nice. The laundry area and office area were also clean and neat. Cable TV is provided. WiFi is also provided but was very slow and intermittent. Park was neat and clean. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Phone call check in. Give them your payment info and they direct you to a site. WiFi is average for RV Parks. Cable is available with standard news, sports, and weather. The place doesn't look to great but is good for a day or two. The laundry room / shower facility is the best part of the park. Recommend for overnight stay. The GS ratings are right on.
The host are very nice and accomadating. I stayed there 2 nights for my grandsons baseball tournament and it was perfect. Good places to eat all within walking distance. And it is quit
