The Willow Lake RV Park is a little out of the way, on the north side of Prescott down in a valley that makes it feel away from it all -- even though it is 10-15 minutes away from downtown. The RV park is adjacent to the city's large Willow Lake Park, with hiking trails, boat launch, picnic areas, sports fields, prehistoric ruins, and zoo. The city park has an admission fee except on Tuesdays. The RV park is older but well maintained. Most of the spaces are occupied by permanent residents but a section is for short-term stays. Most short-stay spaces are pull-through with shady trees, picnic tables, grills and reasonable distance to neighbors. The central building has spacious, clean restrooms/showers, a large laundry room and a convenience store and office (although it can be hard to find somebody staffing the office). There is also a small area for tent camping, nestled in by the granite dells. The paved Heritage Park Road is potholed and has a quite steep hill dropping into the RV park's valley. Because of its hidden location, there is virtually no cell phone service in the park. About a mile down Willow Creek Road is sizable dog park. Just beyond the dog park is a major RV dealer with parts store and service department. The setting is relaxing, the rates are reasonable, the nearby scenery is fantastic so I will stay at the Willow Lake RV Park again.

Two stars for the nice location by a lake. Crowded sites and almost no concessions to COVID pandemic. No signs or references and no requirement for masks in the store/office. Staff are "protected" by little windshields but no staff in or out of office is masked to protect visitors.

Came up to Prescott for the long Veterans weekend. Since this is our first time staying in Prescott in a RV Park, I did not know what to expect. For the most part, the park is nothing to write home home about. The spots are very close together and the one we were staying in (spot 17) was right up against (spot 18). For the most part, the park is nothing to write home home about. The spots are very close together and the one we were staying in (spot 17) was right up against (spot 18). If 18 was occupied while we were there, we could not walk between the two with our slides open. There are only a few selected spots for drop ins. The other half is trailer trash. I don't say this because of the people, it was literally trashy RV's with crap all around. For the most part we did not mingle with the staff so I don't have much to say about them. The park was full and I will say it was peaceful. The location was within walking distance to Willow Lake and centrally located to Prescott.

The office person there wanted a deposit and daily fee for our service dog. He also stated that if we didn't pick up after our dog he would ask us to leave. He had no desire to understand the rights os a service God and their owners. They were very rude. Would not recommend this park and were reported to the Department of Justice, ADA dept.

Mostly full timers. Limited space for vacationing campers. Very, very tight spaces with no views. Dirt roads. There was an abundance of ants to the point we couldn't get our water hooked up without spraying first. When we said something to the office girl she shrugged her shoulders and said "well that's Arizona" Restrooms are old but clean. Area is beautiful!
