The positive aspects of a good location and reasonable prices are overshadowed by the staff's lack of product knowledge, conflicting advice, weak front office management, and discrepancies in paperwork. The restrictive RV size rules are also noted as prejudicial. I would recommended that Good Sam reconsider its affiliation, based on these concerns.
Do not let the ad and pictures fool you! This campground is far from a resort. When we pulled in, we knew we were in trouble. At check in, I was told to wait in the lobby and please do not enter the office, I guess they did not like the way I was dressed. When asked if I could extend my stay, I was told no, they were booked! After I set up my RV in a run down, mobile home / rv park I realized the water pressure was horrible. If you have hot water on demand in you RV, avoid this park! There... Read More

They have one medium size park which is not fenced in for your dogs to free run. The mobile homes are all run down and there is trash everywhere. This park is a dump and I am being nice. Please avoid this place if you can.

We booked this site based on website description, pictures and the great communication we had via email with the campground. We even extended our stay as the weather was looking great. But we were definitely deceived. The short term rental sites are mixed in with the long term park models so we immediately felt like we were intruding. The super tiny spot we were given for our TT was not at all oversized as advertised. All the residents were outside as the weather was nice, but no one was masked... Read More

Park is next to highway, surrounded by malls, car dealerships, essentially the "heart of the city." We instantly had a gut feeling that this place was not for us. We didn't even park, we immediately went back to the office to cancel. Unfortunately no refund for the 4 nights booked, which wasn't surprising, but they didn't even respond to our email in which we apologized for any inconvenience we caused. But-we found a much better place nearby.

Check in was very welcoming. Back in site only for our 40 ft MH. The fellow that helped us back in was great. Some bathroom stalls were filthy. We did find one that was clean and the shower was clean and hot water. The laundry facility is terrible. I thought the washer was going to fly apart during the spinning motion. The dryer was on for 55 minutes and my clothes was still wet. My husband loved the indoor hottub.
This is not an RV Park. This is an old run down trailer park with a few scattered spaces converted to RV spaces. This park is rated to high and you should look somewhere else. Once we signed the credit card slip we were taken to a spot only to see the real park, again quite old and run down, did not look safe. Then we hooked up only to find out they had no cable TV or WiFi available at the space. We had called ahead and were told they had TV and WiFi but after we setup we called the front desk and... After a brief argument with the park manager we packed everything up and left for another park.

Hard to find tucked under I-25. Agree with comments re: not really for RV more like trailer park. Doesn't accept cash, or Credit card without US address- only bank draft or cashiers cheque. Left for another park.
Good Sam rates this one a little too high. The club house was nice. The site was between two run down mobile homes. The rear fence had barbed wire. We didn't feel safe and slept with outside light on. Barking dogs on right and behind. The girl told us it was within walking distance of Balloon Fiesta but it wasn't.
Mobile home/RV gated community with gate locked at 9pm. Easy access off of I-25, within a mile of the Balloon Fiesta Park. Daily, weekly and monthly RV site rentals, monthly sites are required to sign lease with 30 day vacate clause. Extremely spacious full hookup RV sites, gravel with fencing around most on three sides, trash pick up at curb. Off street parking, lots of speed bumps in park. RV members lounge with nice private shower/restrooms. Laundry room next door to RV lounge. Community room... Read More

Activities scheduled every evening except Mondays (with monthly calendar provided) by activity director. WIFI only at community room. No cable provided by park, over the air channels aren't great but numerous. No pet run but large grass park in community. Propane available across highway. **I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about, our site would hold three RVs in a normal campground and every other site we've seen here would too.

Had reservations but bailed when we saw the park. This is NOT an RV park, it's a trailer park. Doesn't really look like the photos, spaces are not really set up for motor homes, too tight. Office personnel were very nice, but I couldn't recommend the park for RV'rs.
