Our stay was great. Flat sites along with very clean bathrooms and facilities. All dogs were on leashes and owners seemed to clean up after them. We would absolutely stay here again when the need arises and we'd recommend to anyone.
I stayed at Forest Retreat site in New Caney! My second time here and an absolute delight! Such hospitality and great amenities! Highly recommend!
It was our first time to stay here. Staff was very friendly. The park is beautiful and well kept. Nice spacious sites. Peaceful. Will be back!
Friendly people.
Stayed one night in a pull through site. Nice gravel and grass site. Wide roadways and easy access to pull through and back in sites. Most back in sites have woods or a lake behind them. Very clean and well maintained. Lots of open cut grass areas to walk a dog. Nature trail too. Staff was friendly and very helpful with great directions to Galveston to avoid toll roads. Really a nice campground. The only downside is there is road noise from I 10 that we could hear slightly inside the camper... Read More

Really a nice campground. The only downside is there is road noise from I 10 that we could hear slightly inside the camper when the TV and stereo were off. It didn't bother us, but it might bother a light sleeper. The noise is the reason I reluctantly scored the appeal a 4 instead of a 5. We really liked the campground and will stay there again. Great spot.

Always accommodating. Handled pandemic reservations very well with no personal contact.
Great overnight stay. Clean and pleasant. Will stay again if in area.
Travelling home - one night stay. Clean, quiet, friendly park - will stay there again when I am in the area.
This is a great, relaxing RV park. I only stayed 2 nights but would definitely go back and stay longer. The staff are wonderful, very friendly. The setting is so relaxing. The showers and restrooms were immaculate. Loved it. Highly recommend.
Great for folks passing thru the area looking for an easy relaxing overnite.
ONE OF THE BEST GOOD SAMS I'VE STAYED IN. WE WERE THERE ONLY FOR OVERNIGHT, BUT THIS PLACE IS RUN EXTREMELY WELL, VERY CLEAN ETC. VERY FRIENDLY HOSTS!
Stayed twice within a 7 day period. The facility was very nice and convenient to enter and exit IH-10 juse west of Beaumont, TX. We would stay there again.
Very clean RV park that is close to stores, food and highway access to go anywhere in houston but has that country feel.
Overall it was a pleasant stay, spots are nice and wide along with very level areas. Laundry room was nice and clean. We didn't use the bathrooms or showers. There was a lot of street noise that had nothing to do with the RV park, however it's a shame because it is a very nice place to stop over or stay awhile. The staff was top notch very helpful and delightful.
Hidden Lake RV Park is a great park, extremely well maintained, very friendly staff, free coffee and donuts! Wifi across campground was strong and consistent. Sites are all level with crushed gravel with surrounding, groomed grass between each site. Park is in close proximity to Beaumont and Port Arthur attractions. The only drawback to the park was the fact that most of the sites are ~1/4 mile from IH-10, highway noise was excessive at times a running fan or air conditioner could be used to... Read More

very clean and comfortable
Everything was great with our stay
We only stayed one night the sites were very accessable for entry and exit.
We only stayed one night but this hidden gem will certainly be a go to place when we travel through the area again. The campground is easy on-off I-10. In spite of being so close to the interstate, it was fairly quiet. We did not use the restrooms, so can't comment, but the campground was neat and clean, the check in friendly and efficient, sites were large, and the WiFi and cable TV were included. Stayed one night. Close location to I-10. Easy to get in and out of campground itself and the site. Nice to walk along the lake.Staff friendly and knowledgeable of campground and area. Very clean and quiet. Will return and stay when in the area.
Even though we were only there one night, my husband and I loved the peacefulness!! Owners are so kind and accommodating. I liked the shower area too. I don't usually like using public showers but since we were only staying one night we didn't feel the need to hook up to the water. I loved the fact that were clean and private ( they were 3 private individual areas that could be locked down). I felt safe using them.
This was an absolute joy of a place to stay! Clean, manicured, no garbage, and showing every sign of workmanship, and taking pride in your product. It was delightful to walk around the lake, no pressure, just nice and quiet and comfortable. This has to be on your list of places to visit. The owners are very accommodating, cordial, and pleasant to visit. If you didn't like it here, you possess "unattainable-expectations".
Stayed one night on my way to Florida. Very clean well taken care of and overall appealing RV park. Easy access to pull through site. Friendly easy check In at the office. Definitely would stay at the park again.
Lovely friendly reception ladies, a spotlessly clean laundry ( 4 washers + 4 dryers ), a book swop library, and neat spacious tidy sites pull thrus and back ins, and a lovely little lake on the property for fishing and two canoes available. Thank you to the kind staff gentleman who helped my husband jump start our little tow car. Easy Access to nearby freeway and town.
We stayed one night very easy access off the 10. The sites were very nice manicured lawns. The bathrooms and showers were spotless. Would definitely stay there again
Great spot with very hospitable staff. did an amazing job at assiting us with our stay.
Wish we were there longer! We were delayed on the road and didn't get into the park until 3am. Our reservation paperwork and space info was waiting for us. We woke in the morning to head back down the road to a quaint little RV park! Very clean, with friendly office staff. The view from the lake was beautiful...will definitely stay again the next time we find ourselves in Beaumont!
Great overnight stay. Easy in/ easy out. We would stay there again.
First time staying at Hidden Lake RV Park and we were very pleasantly surprised. The two ladies that checked us in were as sweet as they come, the park was spotless, full hookup sites were level, restrooms were spotless, the small lake looked very serene. We only booked for one night and had I known how nice this place was I would have enjoyed staying for two or three nights. Next time we're traveling through I hope to make that happen. Thanks for a nice RV Park
Great place to stay when over nighting on I-10 in the Beaumont area. Easy in, Easy Out....... Clean well maintained property and restrooms.
Check in person ready for our arrival. Helpful friendly staff. Grounds and facilities spotless. Nature trail and lake a nice bonus. Would definitely stay there again. A very nice little RV Campground.
Great signage getting to park. Managers were very welcoming and helpful. Good sized pull through spots. Quiet, clean, and well maintained park. Easy access to nearby attractions, stores, and restsurants. Would stay here again.
Beautiful campground with great amenities. Staff friendly and helpful. Check in smooth and quick. They were actually waiting for me with a welcome message. Nice touch. Offered pull through which was helpful. Grounds were kept up and mainicured lots. Propane available and laundry quite nice. Lots were roomy enough and hook ups were convenient. Only negative is if you stay in the front lot, noise from road and local work lots is very loud. Could use a buffer of trees or something. Would... Read More

Very nice and clean, just a little road noise in front of park. But would stay again!
Very nice and friendly people.
We stayed one night while transiting the area in early March. The resort is close to the interstate and an industrial area so highway/truck noise is present but not overbearing. The facilities are very well kept and clean. The owners and staff are very friendly and will bend over backwards to help. The site we were on was a level gravel pull-through. They have propane on site which we took advantage of after staying at numerous state parks in cold weather. Would stay again if in the area.
Nice park, great attitude and friendly check in, nice overall feel to the place. Only stayed one quick overnight.
This is the second time we have stopped for an overnight between New Orleans and San Antonio. The managers have always been friendly and accommodating, the campground is well kept and they gave us a site that was easy in and easy out. It is also easy on/off I-10. We didn't use the restrooms.
Nice little park with very pleasant and helpful staff - recommended
Hidden Lake is just awesome...
Easy on and out. Office was closed before we arrived. Staff called and explained procedures. Very easy.
We enjoyed our one night stay here as we were traveling cross country. We arrived after hours and they had our paperwork and everything we needed in order when we arrived. They knew we were just passing through and gave us an easy access pull through site so we didn't need to disconnect our toad. The site was level and all hook ups were good. We would definitely stay here again. It's a very nice park convenient to I10. Our stay was quiet which enabled us to rest up and get back on the road early... Read More

Very friendly people. We had a nice pull thru with full hookups. The owner gave us maps and directions to places we wanted to go and she even called to make sure they were open.
The hosts were friendly and informative. The site was a pull through, level with a picnic table.
When we arrived at night, our reservation packet was readily available. The park was quiet and serene just like a piece of paradise. I only wish we could have stayed longer.
Ver nice front office/host staff. site was nice and level. decent space between sites. good laundry facility. Nice lake, but no swimming (alligator country y'all) we stayed here overnight on our way to New Orleans. It was a great stop and we would stay again if we are in the area.
Great place to stay as we headed west
Very nice park. Quiet and very clean restrooms
Easy access, nice clean camp ground, cute cabins , awesome view of the bay . No real complaints other than the weather was awful.
The staff at the campground were very pleasant and were always helpful when we needed them. Actually, we stayed a month and booked very late. They were extra helpful in getting us a site that we could stay on without having to move. That meant alot since the park filled up quite often when we were there. It rained often while we were there and the only thing is that the park never dried. I know the water has no place to go and the grass will be wet but the driveways and site parking was also... It rained often while we were there and the only thing is that the park never dried. I know the water has no place to go and the grass will be wet but the driveways and site parking was also always great big puddles. It was impossible to walk anywhere without boots on the entire time. The holes should be maintained so there is at least dry pavement to walk on to and from the office, garbage, etc.
Overall, the park was a nice place to stay.

We chose this site based on the Good Sam's rating, and because it was on our way through Texas from New Orleans. The park was just purchased by new owners and the park managers were setting up the park software. We have a 33' fifth wheel and were given a site not far from the office. The front privacy fence was replaced with a nice white picket fence, but the back fence still had the old wooden slat fence. The roads are in need of repair. The patio was made of red brick tiles, which looked... Read More

We were disappointed with the town of Beaumont. Hardly any downtown or attractions.

We are full timers and have traveled to 17 states and stayed in 30 different RV Park/Campgrounds in the past 24 months, so we have experienced all levels of facilities. Given the Good Sam rating for this park, we were very disappointed during our January stay in a pull-thru site. Certainly not a "resort" as there was no swimming pool, sauna, or play ground. Oh, there is a "lake" with one paddle boat, one canoe, and one kayak available for guests, but that's about the only additional amenity.... Read More

Oh, there is a "lake" with one paddle boat, one canoe, and one kayak available for guests, but that's about the only additional amenity. Although the spaces are adequately spaced, the interior roads are "paved" but in horrible shape, full of potholes and uneven surfaces. Most campsites are uneven and collect large puddles of water after a rain. The pad at our campsite would be flooded with 2-4 inches of water after a moderately heavy rain and would not drain for 2-3 days. We had three of these flooded situations during our January stay. This park has some definite drainage issues. The management did not respond at all to my complaints about the standing water so I had to purchase a utility pump to pump the water off my site and into the roadway. Noise level at park is high as it is located next to a large truck repair center and about a eight mile from the constant noise of I-10. Also, the proximity of this park to the areas oil refineries resulted in frequent unpleasant odors. We did find the wifi and internet speed to be adequate for email and routine web access. We chose this park based upon the Good Sam rating and the park's web site, however, we will not stay here again.

This small park is a little gem and a great spot to tour Beaumont. They have a nice walking area around a small lake. We had a back in site against the trees and it was very quiet. The office, laundry and restroom showers were wonderful and clean. Will stop again.
