New campground owner, hospitable, working on improving the facility. Really great location to the National Forest, State Parks, and attractions. Very level, things for kids, group campfire areas, too. Great wifi.

First off I was displeased by the greeting we received by the owner upon arriving. Slightly rude and unwelcoming. Very small campground with a ton of road noise. The pictures on the website make it look quiet, private and cute when in reality it has no room. Game room isn't a game room but a garage with outdated and broken games and sadly it's located near a recycle shed that's pretty gross. The bathrooms are clean and very well taken care of but that's about it. Nothing for kids to do at all. The... Read More

The food trailed across the road " 302 grill" is overpriced and run by the same owner that was rude to us in the beginning. Just doesn't appear to be people oriented. Many people will overlook what a facility lacks if the staff is friendly and helpful but this wasn't the case here unfortunately . Sites are extremely close together. Cabins are right on the road with street lights shining right on them. Too expensive for what it is. We won't go back to this particular campground but will be trying others in the area next year.

My wife, I, and our puppy dog tried out this campground this season. We found the owner very pleasant and accomodating as were the managers. All are extremely helpful with local information as well as general camping questions. We found the facility to be very pleasant and peaceful, while being very clean. This campground is centrally located to multiple area attractions for everyone in the group. Restrooms are kept extremely clean at all times and are easily accessible. Being located on the... Being located on the Ammonoosuc River is a nice bonus for fishing, tubing, and generally relaxing on/in/or next to the river. For those who prefer poolside lounging, there is an outdoor, in-ground pool in the center of the campground. An Ice Cream shop was opened this summer at the campground, and is a welcome addition. We will definitely make this an annual visit! Thank you Tarry Ho for welcoming us and for a pleasant stay!

We chose this park for our Labor day weekend return to the White Mountains. Very quiet, clean, well run campground. Mountain views and great advice on hiking. We also forgot our all important tennis racquet style "bug zapper" yet found one for sale in the office, how cool is that! My wife, I and our small dog thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
