Don't look for the pool or clubhouse but certainly exceeded all our needs. Simple gravel spots with single picnic table. But if you have a dog, the access to trails is limitless. Also great if you like hiking or biking. Clear Creek and lakes in back for daily escapes. The bathrooms were clean. There are 8 and you'll be assigned a key to one of them. We never crossed paths with others, making it like a private bath. The laundry was $2.50 for wash and $1.50 for dry. Overhead are shelves of DVDs,... Read More

It's on a bus route, $3 for an all day pass on the #44 gets you around town. The hosts were always helpful. One warm day we were having trouble with our circuit breaker and were concerned about leaving the dog in the RV for a dinner engagement. They offered to give us the code to the office to leave our dog after hours! (We remedied the problem, partly with Nancy's advice.) I would not hesitate to recommend this in-town RV park.

If you're looking for scenery, this isn't the place for you. However, if you're looking for a quiet place to drop your RV for a day or two [or 3 or 4 -)], I would wholly recommend Prospect RV Park. It's not fancy, but what it is, is quiet and the full-timers we met are very nice. While it isn't a big park, it appears as most sites are large enough to allow vehicle parking next to the RV - and we have a big, 4-door, long-bed F-350. The sites are about as level as you can get, which makes it VERY... Read More

My husband and I came all the way out from Oregon to trade in our Class A for another Class A right down the street from this RV park. We had tried calling a few times, but no answer and NO voice mail/answering machine. The website also said to email if you couldn't get through on the phone, we never got a response. This was on a Sat. and their website said they close at noon on Sat., which is fine. We decided to drive to the park anyway and just go on in and pay later (we were going to spend 5... Read More

We were livid, at least they could have stated that on an ANSWERING DEVICE if they had one!!!, instead of us driving all the way over there to find them and finding out they had NO VACANCIES. Needless to say we WILL NOT stay at this park, now or EVER!!
We must give this park 0's all the way around!!!

We're new at RV'ing and Prospect Place was a surprise to us. Whereas we wanted a place to stop overnight that wasn't far from the interstate, we were surprised to turn off the main thoroughfare into a driveway which was the entrance to this small, older park. The people in the office were very friendly -- and they are extremely dog friendly as well (one of the most dog friendly places we went to). But the park is so small and packed and not visually pleasing. But it is nicely maintained. We... Read More
