Planes, trains and automobiles. Planes: literally across the road from the airport. Trains: LITERALLY trains come through the park. Automobiles: well, there is the road. All said, the park was pretty quiet after the last train around 9:30 pm. Most of the park is for long term/permanent residents. There were 64 mailboxes at the front of the park. Sites are very close together. Some sites have obviously not been well maintained, while others have taken pride in their site. One even has... Read More

The floors were dirty and wet. Even after the bathrooms were cleaned, the floors were left wet, which means the first person in was going to leave them dirty. These were the bathrooms by the front office. Did not go into the ones "on the other side of the tracks". We stayed one night and had a level, pull through site. Didn't interact with management as there was a sign posted the office was closed due to sickness. However, all our paperwork was attached and we had no problems. Only complaint about the site was the water hookup was almost too low to attach the hose. The campground was clean as far as trash etc. in the public areas. There were a few potholes in the roadways, but nothing to worrisome. Unless we were staying in the Greenville area for a specific purpose, this campground would not be our first choice.

Springwood RV Park was great for our overnight stay. Our pull-thru site was right next to the office and was very level. Our site had a picnic table. We had no issues with the water/electric/sewer. Our rate was $48.
We are staying here for 4 days. Based on some previous reviews I thought it might be a little run down. It is a very nice park! It is not a Recreational park so no lake, walking trails, pool. There is a train that goes through it, hasn’t bothered us yet. The park is nicely maintained, bathrooms are clean. Everyone is quiet. We are here for a few days so my husband can work at the arena. It is about 20 minutes from downtown Greenville. No stores within walking distance that I can see. A small gas,... Read More

Awful! Now I know why they request full pay at time of reservation and clearly state no refunds for early departure. We can take the train going by we couldn't how bad the place was. I don't know where they got the pictures for their website but they must be several years old. No Wi-Fi, no cable, no grass and no sense of security. Most of the sites appeared to be permanent and obviously the trailers had not been moved in YEARS! We had booked for four nights and left after one night. We would... Read More

This is a combination mobile home park and RV park. They are in the process of converting it to all RV sites. The road in was good, the roads in the park do have a few tight turns, especially if cars are parked a little in the road. The park is mostly well kept up, with construction going on it is a little cluttered looking at the moment. The sites in the front part of the park are pretty close together. In the back of the park they are a little wider. Check in was fast and friendly. We were in... Read More

The park is mostly well kept up, with construction going on it is a little cluttered looking at the moment. The sites in the front part of the park are pretty close together. In the back of the park they are a little wider. Check in was fast and friendly. We were in Site 97, a gravel and grass back in with full hook-ups. We arrived in the middle of the cold snap that was crossing the country and the water spout was frozen. The maintenance guy came right over and started heating it up to thaw it. The site was fairly level and long enough for our 37-foot Class A and parking the car, and plenty wide enough, we had no problem storing our tow-dolly on site. There is a train track that runs right down the middle of the park but we only heard it a couple of times a day and the latest they ran was around 9:30 at night. There are not a lot of places on site to walk the dog but large fields across the street. We stayed January 3 - 10, 2017 and paid $25.00 a night with their weekly rate.

Really this is a mobile home park with a few very small RV sites. I could not pull out of the site and had to back out of a so called pull through site. Find another place.
This is a small park, but you have plenty of room to maneuver. I had a pull thru for my 38 ft. 5th wheel and there was plenty of room. There are a lot of full timers there, but they are well maintained spaces. Which tell me that the management enforces the rule. Rest rooms are nice and clean (Private restrooms) The only down side is that they do not have a laundry on site. I will stay there again!
This is a very nice quiet campground. Most of the people here are full timers working in the area, so if you want to stay be sure to call ahead to make reservations because as one RV leaves another pulls in. The staff is friendly and will help in any way they can. The campground is neat and clean with the grass mowed every week. Dumpsters are available for you to dump your trash at any time. Most sites are level in the older section but the new section sites do have a little bite of a drop. I can't... Read More

We have been here for three months and plan on staying indefinitely. We love the campground, the neighbors and owners.

I stayed here for a little over 5 months during the week and commuted home on the weekends. Never had any issues or problems in leaving camper over the weekends. Always felt safe. Management was friendly and helpful. Campground is well maintained. Spaces are a little tight but well shaded. Would recommend and stay here again. Only issue I had was the train at the back of the property that comes through at night blowing his horn!
There is absolutely nothing wrong with the campground. We have a 34' 5th wheel. No problem with sight being large enough. Plenty of parking. Managers could not be any nicer. Plenty of security lights. Nice neighbors. Campground has gravel sites with concrete patios. Managers are careful of what your rv looks like. Junk doesn't get in. Have been here for awhile and will continue to stay until we leave town.
Please do not stay here! Check out first before confirming over phone! Does not deserve even one star! This place is horrible! Sites too small, in bad shape and close together! Internet and TV never work! Parking is horrible and streets are narrow! Train runs next door every day! Electric on small trailer almost $100 a month! Many trailers are permanent and in bad shape! Half of the park is a dump! Nothing close by!
