The Point RV Campground is on the shores of Emigrant Lake. We stayed their for the Ashland shakespeare festival. The theaters are a short drive away. The park has many things to offer boating, fishing, swimming, Kids park. The park host located at the front gate is very Good!. Fantastic restrooms. The RV park is located on a hill over looking the lake. Our slanted back in spot allowed for a panoramic view sitting from our dining table. Flat for easy setup full hook-up. No Wi-fi or cable.... Good Cell Service, used my T-mobile service as a Wi-fi hot spot. Didn't need cable had enough local Air channel reception. Be careful when getting directions, I first used my Garmin Nuvi to find the park it wanted me to go to Klamath falls (50 miles away). When going up the hill to the RV spots, The road has a harsh dip over the lake overflow, which can cause long trailers to scrape on the road. We will be staying here again.

The Point RV Campground is a few miles east of Ashland and on the shores of Emigrant Lake. There are parks, plenty of boating and fishing, hiking and lots of fun things to do in Ashland. The campground is part of Jackson County Parks and is referred to as Emigrant Lake Recreation Area. I stayed 8 nights at $30 per night and an $8 reservation fee. I stayed in my 40 foot Motorcoach and had towed my Honda CR-V and carried my Triumph motorcycle on the back of the Motorcoach. There was no extra charge... Read More

I stayed in my 40 foot Motorcoach and had towed my Honda CR-V and carried my Triumph motorcycle on the back of the Motorcoach. There was no extra charge for the motorcycle even though technically it was a second vehicle. Thinking back on all the RV parks I have stayed in the past almost 20 years I'd rate this as one of the best due to beautiful views, close to Ashland, very nice restrooms and showers and super nice camp host. I was in site B-20 which is a back-in; therefore, the view out the front windshield was of the lake and surrounding mountains. The site had great water pressure, sewer and 50 amp service. I couldn't ask for anything more! Highly recommend! Tip: If you have a motorhome get a back-in site with lake view such as B-20
