If zero stars had been an option, that is what I would have chosen. We arrived at the park to find it completely deserted. After finally finding our campsite we saw that it wasn't a 50 amp site as reserved! Our site was very isolated and we never saw another camper. When I called the manager on his cell he was very rude. He stated that I had not reserved a 50 amp service(I had). I asked if he had any sites available with 50 amps or if he could suggest other campgrounds in the area. He said no... Read More

He said no and that all the other campgrounds were closed for the season. We decided to leave the campground and fortunately met a police officer who suggested other campgrounds or hotels in the area. We chose to stay in a hotel since it was already getting dark! I cannot emphasize enough.....Don't stay here!!!!!!! We paid for the campsite plus a hotel room that night.

Stayed here 2 nights and have to say it is not worth the amount they charge. The sites are nice, level, wooded and spaced far apart. That is the only good thing I have to say about this campground. To get to the sites it is a drive down a steep hill. Very difficult to navigate. Miserable if you wanted to go to the small pool or old playground.....you have to hike up a steep hill. We had to put our big truck in 4 wheel drive just to get out. Old, deserted RV's just pulled into little alleys... Read More

Never found a shower so if there is one it certainly isn't easily acessable or visable. Camp "store" is not much more than marshmallows, graham crackers and chocolate bars. This campground is WAY off of tbe beaten path and is not near anything. I feel it is way overpriced for such an old, trashy looking campground.

No internet, bathrooms and showers were disgusting, not clean falling apart.
Not an easy park to get to, but if you like rustic, this is very! Easy way in is very steep paved road, long way in is a one way dirt road. It was okay, but I don't think we'd go back. Stayed two days. Made reservations for a pull thru and when we got there they wanted to give us a back in. We did eventually get a pull through. Nice firepits and lots of wood in the woods. Too hilly and for us Florida folks!
