We are from upstate NY and traveled here for the first time with our RV. Nothing but good things happened here. The manager is on site and very helpful. When we pulled in and checked in he was there to take us to our site and helped backed us in. Our friend with even a larger RV had a pull trailer that did not fit on the site, and the manager used his own truck to move it to the overflow parking spot. Another couple, who we just met there, broke down and was towed in to the campground. They are... Read More

They are closed on Saturday, but the managers wife took them into town to get food as thier supplies were in their truck at the mechinacs shop. This is one of the best places we have stayed and would recommend to anyone who wants the "forest" camping expierence. We will certainly be back next year!

We appreciate the Good Sam discount, but was totally disappointed in the additional $10 charge to use the dump station therefore, we did not use the dump. We have traveled 95,000 miles in our RV and have never been charged an additional cost to use the dump at campgrounds where we've paid for a site.
Traveling in a 38 foot coach we stayed 4 nights in a site for big rigs. The site we had (site was in the back of the park) was level but like most sites in this area it lacked gravel on the dirt pad. Our satellite did not work here (to many large trees to get reception). If you are looking for a quiet and clean park where you can sit outside and relax. go here. However, if you have a large coach stay in the front of the park, next to the office (in that area the pads are gravel). If you have a dog... Read More

We enjoyed our stay, and would go back.

Very nice quiet campground right near Freeport Me. Nicely wooded and laid out separating the sites. You don't feel like you are right on top of someone. The lady who checked us in was fantastic. She even took us into town in her shuttle van so we could visit LL Bean and the other stores in Freeport. We didn't visit the restrooms so we can't comment. We used the water and electric site and were very happy. Nice quiet place.
