A very nice campground with large lots consisting of a concrete pad and thick green grass (although the last time they cut the grass they left large blotches of clipping everywhere, which get all over the hoses and power cord, and got tracked into the motorhome). Overall nice sites, maybe just lacking a few more trees. Hookups were easy to use and close together (we had full WES hookups). We arrived after 5 PM and the camp host who checked us in was very friendly. Can't comment on facilities... Read More

A very nice campground with large lots consisting of a concrete pad and thick green grass (although the last time they cut the grass they left large blotches of clipping everywhere, which get all over the hoses and power cord, and got tracked into the motorhome). I travel alone with 2 big dogs in 27' a class A motorhome. I appreciate RV parks with safe, pleasant places to walk the dogs and extra space between sites, both of which this park has. Clint Safford Memorial RV Park is just a few blocks off US-2. Even though it is in town, it feels like a park setting and a paved/boardwalk trail borders it. Roads/parking spots are paved and otherwise is grassy. However: the fire pit had remains of previous visitor's meals (yuck), and I was disappointed when I asked... Read More

Clint Safford Memorial RV Park is just a few blocks off US-2. Even though it is in town, it feels like a park setting and a paved/boardwalk trail borders it. Roads/parking spots are paved and otherwise is grassy. However: the fire pit had remains of previous visitor's meals (yuck), and I was disappointed when I asked about the (locked) dump station and was told there was a $5 fee for non-sewer campers even though their website clearly states "Free dump station to registered campers."
