To begin our trip at Moose Hillock, after driving 6 hrs with kids and a camper, we were told we would be charged $45 for being 10-15 minutes early for check in. Or we would have to leave the property for 10-15 minutes. Not a great start to a vacation. We chose Moose Hillock to have a safe, spacious vacation during this covid pandemic. Or we would have to leave the property for 10-15 minutes. Not a great start to a vacation. We chose Moose Hillock to have a safe, spacious vacation during this covid pandemic. The space of the sites was really nice, the fire pit was very cool with the rocks. However, the pool was not limited on amounts of people, kids were not spaced while waiting for the slides (by neither markers on ground or the staff sitting at the slides). We saw many people not wearing masks in the store or arcade, including the staff. We have been to other campgrounds who's restrictions were much safer. The pool is really big and cool, kids loved that, but we had to limit it time to the morning because of how crowded it would get. They had some activities for kids, however some cost even more money. Laundry was $20 in quarters for 3 loads which was inconvenient. Also have to pay for showers in bathroom. The app they use for credit cards would not work, and the staff informed us they can not help with the app. The golf carts were very nice, and well kept, and the staff was always working on trying to keep the roads smooth after rain. I do not think we would return to Moose Hillock after having been to other campgrounds around Lake George with much more to do for the same price that did not nickel and dime for everything.

We heard a lot of good things about this Resort and was looking forward to our stay. The best thing about our stay were the sites. They were large, wooded and private with a nice fire pit. All the staff we encountered were very nice. The pool is big but was very dirty and very crowed. It was not heated. The pool area was packed and there was no masks or social distancing. We were informed at check in that we had to wear wristbands at the pool and if we lost them we would be charged $18.00... Read More

The game room looked fun but this was also packed with no masks or social distancing. Masks were also not required in the camp store. You had to pay to use the shower. If you wanted wood there was a $5.00 delivery fee. No garbage pick up. No Wi-Fi. Golf carts were $86-89 per day. This is a very hilly campground. A lot of walking up and down the hill to the pool, to the dumpster etc. Also Moose Hillock is about a 10-15 minute drive to anywhere. No trails or shuttles. Except for the site we didn't really care for Moose Hillock and we won't be back.

Our family had our first camping trip here, tons of activities for the kids, a great family comedy show, and a pool that will keep you busy for hours. Sites are secluded and not right on top of one another. Bathrooms and showers were spotless. A great first camping experience. we will be back.

This is the second time we have stayed at this resort this year. Sites at this RV park are very big and private. The pool was closed for the season but it is very big and has two water slides. The resort is new so there are little things that need to be done. Park is not really set up for tents as each site is gravel base. Bathrooms are new and clean. You have to pay 25 cents for the shower but the water is very hot and you get plenty of time. We will be going back and will likely visit their... Read More

You will like this campground if you don't like to be right on top of your neighbors The sites are large and flat. The roads are gravel. Not great for bike riding. Great pool very large fun for Gand kids and is heated.
