We stayed at this campground as we were traveling across the country. We chose it because of its location in our hours-of-driving schedule. The RV park we had stayed in the previous night didn't have fire pits or trees, and we were hoping, with campground being in the name, to find both of those. We were both surprised to find this to be more of a gravel parking lot than what we had in mind for a campground. When we arrived, the host came right out to meet us. The RV park we had stayed in the previous night didn't have fire pits or trees, and we were hoping, with campground being in the name, to find both of those. We were both surprised to find this to be more of a gravel parking lot than what we had in mind for a campground. When we arrived, the host came right out to meet us. We learned we only had water and electric, and we really needed a full hookup, so she was able to upgrade us to a full hookup for only $4 more. She was really helpful in getting us checked in. We stayed in D-4, which was somewhat in the middle of the sites. It had rained for a while prior to our arrival, so we had to navigate around quite a few deep potholes filled with water, but we were able to get in and settled fairly quickly. Our narrow, gravel site was mostly level, so we didn't need to mess with our blocks. Clearly there were no fire pits or picnic tables, so our hopes of enjoying time outside had to be adjusted. In addition, the camper parked next to us had outdoor security cameras, and two were pointed right at our windows. We decided to keep our blinds shut. Cell service was fairly terrible, despite being right next to the interstate and so many businesses (Wal-Mart, hotels, restaurants). Thankfully we had a hot spot and were able to use that for a short time before giving up entirely. Despite all these things, we were able to enjoy a gorgeous sunset (out of the non-surveillance side of the RV) and slept very well. The park was much quieter than I thought it would be. And we were able to make a quick stop at Wal-Mart the next day to stock up on a few things before getting back on the road.

Overnight stay. Convenient on off interstate so could hear road noise. Restrooms clean. Showers not user friendly when you have to keep pushing water on to keep showering and water was warm at best (November would be a good month to turn up water temperature). Staff was friendly.

Stayed 1 night in 5th whl. It's just a large gravel lot with strips of grass, self-service, FHUs, NO amenities. It appears to be a spot for long term or passing thru. It's right by I-80 but we picked a site well away. You leave money when coming in and take any site. They're long enough to stay hitched. They don't have bathrooms, tables, fire pits, or anything else, tenters out of luck. It isn't a destination but, for us, it was ok for a night. If passing thru I would stay again, it wasn't creepy...
