PROBLEMS, PROBLEMS, PROBLEMS...If I could give them less than 1 star I would...We arrived after a long day of traveling just to find out that the location in the park we chose was not the size that was stated on their website. We have a 43-foot RV with a Jeep in tow. Upon checking in, it showed the space to be only 38.5 feet in length. Then for about 1.5 hours, we stood there waiting for them to fix the problem. They finally switched us to the space next to the spot we originally had booked. We... Read More

We have a 43-foot RV with a Jeep in tow. Upon checking in, it showed the space to be only 38.5 feet in length. Then for about 1.5 hours, we stood there waiting for them to fix the problem. They finally switched us to the space next to the spot we originally had booked. We were actually so tired we were just glad they gave us the spot next to it that would actually fit us. BUT THIS IS NOT THE END OF OUR STORY. Unfortunately. Later I noted that they charged the credit card I had on file and also the card I gave them, so it looked like we were double charged. The next morning, my husband gets a call that they need a credit card for our reservation. he told them we gave them a credit card and they actually charged us twice. He then goes into the office to fix the issue. The lady at the desk was a different person from the night before, and she was not as kind about our situation. She said the charges were refunded BUT informed my husband that we could only stay until July 8th and not July 9th which was what we booked with them and what the person the night before had led us to believe. Even though my husband told her this is what the lady from the night before that took care of the spot issue said, she continued to argue and even blame us for the mistake. She informed him that because we booked the other spot this was OUR big mistake and that's why we are losing out on the night of the 9th. She told my husband that I booked it incorrectly and it was on me. Well, I am so careful having such a large RV to NOT make that mistake, I was livid. So we looked online and saw that it said ON THEIR WEBSITE that the spot I chose fits up to 45 feet. My husband went back to show her their website showing this information, and she just kept on making excuses for it and telling us it is already booked for the 9th so nothing she can do. So even though the employee from the night before led us to believe we had this new spot until the 9th, we don't. She didn't seem to care. My husband is in marketing and told her that she should be trying to do whatever she could to correct this situation since it is their error. She then said well what do you want me to do? My husband said well it would be nice to maybe comp us a night, and she then responded, yeah I could do that. My husband was like okay but I shouldn't have to tell you that. He also told her that the website should be fixed to reflect what they actually have and not some general categories that can be switched if it doesn’t work for them. We have been on the road since November and we have NEVER encountered anything like this. Whatever happened to "the customer is always right"? And in this instance, we actually were right, but for them to take responsibility and take care of us after knowing it is their error, that definitely was not what occurred, and no apologies. And now we are trying to find a place for one night close to the Fourth of July weekend. Thank you so much for all of the stress you have caused us on our trip! So because of all of this, I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this place. If you do, I wish you luck and make sure to triple check you are getting what you think you are reserving. Management is clueless and even when you think they have fixed their error, they make another one and the CUSTOMER is made to feel they have done something wrong and lose out. I am so sad that I have to post a negative review. This is the first one I have had to post since starting on the road in November 2022 which is a shame.

A couple of washers and dryers were not working and need to be put back into operation, but there were several unit. Everything else was in good condition. We would stay there again.
Stayed for 4 nights. Facility is very large and was pretty full. Spaces are narrow and not super level. Even though the park was full it was very quiet at night. The staff is super friendly! We didn't use the pool but there were sure lots of kids enjoying it and the playground. We would definitely stay again.
This facility is under construction, I have no doubt that a year from now it will be much better, in the meantime the campers have to tolerate dust, mud, large construction equipment going by every hour, there are several laundry rooms throughout the park, the one near our site all the machines were listed out of order had to use the one at the other end of the park, the other interesting factor is that depending of which laundry room you use the rates are different. I used the bathroom facilities... Read More

I used the bathroom facilities and they are full of water, it rained during our stay and the mud was so bad in front of our trailer that in order to get into our truck my husband had to drive completely around to the end of the road and come to the back of the trailer for me to get in. I asked the front desk if they could send someone with gravel to soak up the mud and I was told that was not their department and would relay the message to the construction crew, nothing was ever done. We are full time and have been to many campgrounds some good and some bad, but I would not recommend using this campground until their construction is complete.

To Be fair I could have rated the facility's a bit higher but they had just opened for the season and the campground was a bit muddy from the recent snow fall and all the upgrades they were putting into the park. They had lots of pull troughs and the spots were fairly level. Wifi is a bit spotty and week but with beautiful views and The BEST showers i encountered on my 3 week journey, I would highly recommend staying here!
Nice park with beautiful views and great location. The staff were friendly and helpful. The spaces were a bit close together but overall it is a really nice place.
Nice facility. Friendly and helpful staff. Roads and sites facilitate easy in and easy out. Sites fairly level. Utilities provided as advertised. Many sites have tall trees for shade. Overall facility large and great for walks. Custer is an easy 15 walk. Bathrooms clean. Stalls should be a bit longer. Would stay here again.
