My family and I have been to Oasis RV twice, once last year with our travel trailer, and now this month for a AAA tow. I have to say the owners are super people. Last time we had room to keep the trailer hitched to the truck, all services worked, everything was as advertised -- a great safe place to spend a night or longer. My family and I have been to Oasis RV twice, once last year with our travel trailer, and now this month for a AAA tow. I have to say the owners are super people. Last time we had room to keep the trailer hitched to the truck, all services worked, everything was as advertised -- a great safe place to spend a night or longer. Plus there's a great Mexican restaurant across the street.
Our second visit was because we were helping our daughter move across country and her car broke down, just outside Van Horn. It runs out that AAA sent the RV Park owner, who doubles as the friendly AAA tow truck driver, and it further turns he's out a very able mechanic who was able to repair our car and get us on the way -- on a Sunday evening when virtually everything else was closed -- but only after his wife treated us to some of her fantastic homemade ice cream. All of the 'contraptions' that are one this property -- old cars, motorcycles, homemade vehicles of many descriptions -- coupled with the honesty and friendliness of the owners, make this a 'must stop' destination for anyone passing through west Texas.
