My wife and I love this park we stayed there all summer and are going to return next summer. The management are awesome and the people that stay in the park are great.
We stayed at Peacock Meadows Riverside RV Park this July to the end of August. Our experience was wonderful. From checkin to checkout, professional all the way. The managers along with their assistants are so welcoming and sincerely want you to have a positive experience. Their knowledge of South Fork and surrounding area is sure to keep your adventure top rate. The park is pristine. There are 2 ponds and the Rio Grande banks the north side of the park. Their knowledge of South Fork and surrounding area is sure to keep your adventure top rate. The park is pristine. There are 2 ponds and the Rio Grande banks the north side of the park. The dog kennel is the cleanest I have ever seen. Cedar chips are several inches deep so there is no worry your pooch will get muddy. The RV sites are large enough to park your rig and tow, each have a fire ring and picnic table. The weekly pot pucks, bingo and occasional community camp fire bring a sense of community and belonging not to mention lots of laughter. We enjoyed our time in South Fork so much we plan to return year after year. Since the park is open year round, we are throwing around the idea of returning when the snow has covered the mountains. This park gets 5 stars, more if I could give. Trust me, you will not regret choosing Peacock Meadows as your base to exploring this beautiful part of Southern Colorado!

Pristine park. Pull through and back in sites. Gravel pads. Level. Bathrooms and showers sparkling clean. Nicest dog park we have ever seen - very dog friendly! Poop bags available. Nice sized playground equipment. Mexican Train, Pot luck & Bingo on different nights. Good attention to making long term and short term folks feel part of a community. Wonderfully quiet. South Fork has so much to offer as a base camp for exploring a beautiful part of Colorado.
We stayed from mid July - mid August 2018. This is an excellent park. The managers are super and their dog is a great camp ground host. The facilities were as advertised. Its a great place to explore southern Colorado. Pegosa springs and Crede are very fun places - both are less than an hour away. If you go horseback riding, ride with Cottonwood Cove. The only negative was that they were having trouble with fast internet and we were not able to 'stream'. We could check email, news, etc.... Read More

New RV park, with top notch facilities and infrastructure. Owners have gone to a lot of trouble to build top quality park. No shade as trees are newly planted, but nice access to the river and nature areas. Bathroom/showers are 2 rooms and located at far end of park, which could be a problem if you depend on that. Would definitely recommend this park.
A wonderful find! The staff are great- friendly and helpful. The park is fairly new and very clean. Level gravel sites and roads, with new trees planted everywhere. Brand new fenced in playground for kids. Very pet friendly with a large fenced dog park. The restrooms are the nicest I've seen anywhere. Private rooms with ceramic tile and marble. Park benches by the catch-and-release pond as well as by the river, which is only a few feet beyond the pond. Beautiful mountain views. The large recreation/gathering... Read More

The large recreation/gathering room was not open yet as we were here in early May before the heavy tourist season began. And terrific WiFi connection and cell service!! We will definitely stay again.
