This park was recommended by some friends of ours. They knew that we liked a park that was close to grocery stores and restaurants so this park was very convenient to many choices in this category. South Forty was also convenient to many tourist sites that were on our list to visit. Check in was ok, but the camp hosts seemed to be new and inexperienced. With our combined knowledge, we managed to overcome any problems. The front of the park is very noisy with car races at night and the usual... Read More

South Forty was also convenient to many tourist sites that were on our list to visit. Check in was ok, but the camp hosts seemed to be new and inexperienced. With our combined knowledge, we managed to overcome any problems. The front of the park is very noisy with car races at night and the usual traffic in the morning and evening. The racing cars were the only problem at night. So if you're looking for peace and quiet, this park would not check that feature off. There were restrictions on dogs (under a certain weight) but we saw many large dogs. The common rule of leashing dogs was also policy, but we saw at least three dogs off their leashes with no apparent consequences. Strangely, the manager's dog was off leash every time we saw him. It is understandable that the rest of the residents wouldn't take this policy seriously if the the management doesn't. As a responsible dog owner, it is worth noting that many cities have laws in addition to the policies the RV Park may have. So, for us, taking a walk in the park was a little intimidating. The club house could use an update, but the pool was very large, clean and obviously has been updated. The bathrooms were very clean, but also could use an update. The laundry rooms were very dirty and expensive. I opted not to do my laundry while there based on this impression. In other parks we have stayed, the bath and laundry facilities would be similar in cleanliness and updates. This was the exception. There wasn't much going on in the park, but we weren't there that often. Maybe there's more to do during the winter season. Overall, I would recommend this park for the convenience to so many amenities.

Tucson is a great town and this park on the north west side is a perfect location. Its close to I10 and lots of stores, There are RR tracks but there about a mile away. Its very clean and the heated pool and spa are very nice. the staff was very helpful getting you in and out of your site and making sure you have all you need. They also have lots of info about the area and things to do. there lots of permanent residents but just as many RV sites with pull and back in all full hookup
Staff was very friendly, The park was neat and clean. Some park models mixed in with nice neighbors.
We only stayed here one night. Checked in late so did not interface with office staff. Did not use any of the facilities. Our site was gravel with patio slab and picnic table, nice and level. Did not use the wifi. This park is in town and close to shopping and restaurants.
I found the staff friendly and helpful. The pool, hot tub and showers are very clean and well maintained. We have a 34 foot Alpine and it was a tight squeeze into site 152. I lost a hearing aid on the last day. We searched high and low but had to leave without it. Left my name and a description with a phone number. Staff found it and called me. They shipped it at their expense. Thank you!
Beautiful large cacti. Mostly permanent campers. Campsites for short stay guests are very average, with no shade. Not very dog friendly. If your dog has an accident and you miss it you miss you will be immediately expelled. Very tiny dog "run". I found the permanent residents very friendly and the staff very rigid. I forgot to ask for my Good Sam discount at check in and they would not make it retroactive. It seems staff have been instructed by management not to ask about eligible discounts. I... Read More

I was told "it is your responsibility not ours". Long, narrow pull throughs. Wifi does not work.. Near I-10 but reasonably quiet. Near stores and restaurants. Nice pool. Clean bathrooms. Grounds well maintained. Dumpster location is inconvenient if you are hooked up.
