We stayed 2 nights while passing through the area having made reservations online. Specific site selection was not an option. Only choice was either pull through or back in based upon availability. While credit card information is captured while making reservations, payment is made at the park. The nightly rate had gone down since making the reservations so the reduced price was used. The park sits along I-5 so it is a short drive from the interstate to the park (Exit 43) along rural 2 lane roads.
The interior roads are paved. The interior roads have sufficient width and gentle turns making maneuvering larger RV's easy.
There is a mixture of back-ins and pull through sites. The sites were generally level with a slight pitch to most sites. The parking pads are paved with concrete patio aprons. The P/T sites appeared long enough to say connected to a toad. P/T sites along the interstate could get a lot of traffic noise. They have full hook ups - water, electricity (50/30/20 AMP), & sewer. The sewer connection was at ground level making it easy to establish a downhill flow depending on discharge point. The length of the back-ins is impressive, but the arrangement of the utility connections (power & water towards the front, sewer towards the back) renders the length much shorter. Utility connections more centrally located in the P/T sites. Site width is impressive so there was sufficient room for opening slides & storage compartments. No outside table or fire pit. Distance & grassy areas establish privacy between the sites. No uniform site layout so availability of shade from RV's is dependent upon site assignment. Grass could use a cut. There seems to be a lot of long term occupation.
The landscaping is new so the few young trees scattered throughout the park didn't pose an obstacle to satellite reception but there was a ridge line that could pose a problem depending upon your site and dish configuration. The park information shows 24 HD DISH channels but didn't mention anything about broadcast channels. Didn't try to get any broadcast channels.
The park has 2 types of WIFI. One is complimentary. The other is for streaming. We were given the streaming service in order to test it for the park but normally there is an additional fee for it. Both are password protected. Didn't try our Verizon WiFi hotspot or NET10 phone so don't know about reception.
No pet area or waste collection stations. Dumpster at front of park. There was sufficient area to walk dogs along the park's roads.
TIP: A couple of sites require very tight turns to get into or out of (12 & 22).
