We arrived on a day that it had been raining. It was Sunday and there was no one to check us in. We went to the site that we had "locked" and it was a mud pit. We tried to park in it and had to use the 4 WD to get out of the mud. We were told by other campers to just pick a space, the owners were on vacation. We tried 2 other sites and got stuck in both sites. Every site was either grass or red clay all of which had turned to mud. We chose not to stay fearing not being able to get out in the... Read More

We arrived on a day that it had been raining. It was Sunday and there was no one to check us in. We went to the site that we had "locked" and it was a mud pit. We tried to park in it and had to use the 4 WD to get out of the mud. We were told by other campers to just pick a space, the owners were on vacation. We tried 2 other sites and got stuck in both sites. Every site was either grass or red clay all of which had turned to mud. We chose not to stay fearing not being able to get out in the morning as it was still raining. There was a really helpful guy who tried to help us but he had only been there a week. I was contacted by the owner about 2 hours after we left and I explained why we left and she did process our refund quickly.
