Even better than we expected. So often we find RV Resorts lacking anything close to a resort feel. Not the case at Lakeshore! This place is beautiful and the team, from the front office to the grounds crew, is first rate. We first heard about Lakeshore a couple of years ago through a direct email advertisement. This was our first opportunity to enjoy the Resort in person. When we arrived we were greeted in the office by the team and then escorted to our site. There are lots of pull through sites... There are lots of pull through sites surrounded by large back in sites along the perimeter. The surprise was seeing a couple of rows of long pull through sites that are covered. We asked for and received an upgrade, for a fee, to a covered site. We were across from the large resort style clubhouse, pool, exercise room and laundry. We were also close to a beautiful fenced dog park. You do truly get what you pay for.

Great RV Park just outside Dallas. They have everything as advertised on their website: level concrete pads, back in and pull thru sites (some covered), dog parks, pool you can actually swim in, activities bldg with laundry, restrooms & showers, pool, coffee bar, TV room, etc. Very relaxing environment. Staff is great to work with.
Fantastic park for the metroplex . Right next to busy I-30 but inside your RV you really don't hear it if you have the AC running. Pull thru & back in level concrete pads, some with a metal roof over the pad, some back ins with a view of the lake. Very small trees scattered throughout but they will grow. Dog parks, huge laundry facility, recreation building with pool and shuffleboard, big screen tv, fireplace, huge kitchen with all amenities for a gathering. Gorgeous pool with fountains and a large... Read More

Gorgeous pool with fountains and a large area for grilling with 2 huge natural gas grills . Showers /bath are like a 4 star hotel. Gated. Small grassy area between pads. Cable TV, wifi. Negatives: If you want to stream you have to pay extra for that. No security or staff on site after hours or after hours on weekends so some residents do as they please during those times. We witnessed a fight at the pool, kids in the pool after 8 when they are supposed to be out of there, smoking, riding ATV. The positives far outweigh the negative. Would recommend staying here ! We took advantage of water sports at the lake and ate at a nearby restaurant that had lake side seating. Really an enjoyable stay.

Great staff. Extremely clean and safe park. Easy Uber to downtown destinations. Definitely recommend. Hookup’s and sewer on both sides. Cement pads. Back sites have view of lake
This is a great facility for larger rigs, pretty easy to access, great amenities for all. Very friendly and accommodating staff, super clean facility. The criticism of the dog parks is unwarranted, that is a dog owner issue (we have a dog with us) it is not on the park. Our dog is sensitive to noise so being there on the 4th didn't help and she found the road traffic noise more bothersome than we did. Since this is an upscale facility in a metroplex I was pleasantly surprised that it was... Read More

While a pretty setting and a new park, I would not recommend staying here. They do no clean up their dog parks. There was bags of dog poop all over the ground and no signage for people to pick it up. One of the stations was out of bags and no shovels we’re available. Full time RVers ALERT they refuse mail. Which you can find in the small print of their rules, but for those of us who rely on parks accepting our mail (and pay to have it forwarded) this was a surprise. We have traveled all over... We have traveled all over the country and this is the first park to refuse mail. This place has a Huge office, so space does not appear to be the reason. They also continue to have water issues as noted in other reviews. Stay someplace else, I wish I had.

Beautiful RV park, nicely spaced apart, level and full hookup. I stayed 2 1/2 months for work. Amenities were the best I’ve seen clean large laundry area, 3 dog parks, nice clean bathrooms with hot water and great water pressure. Individual shower area with wooden locked doors, showers with marble tile, glass doors and bench in dressing area to keep clothes dry. Pool area was out of this world with lighted waterfall and hot tub. Activity center has full kitchen, entertainment area and huge big screen... Read More

Huge grilling area right next to the pool. Things are bigger and better in Texas!! Hands down the best RV park. Only complaint is traffic noise, but found it’s quieter along the fence lines. Would stay here again when back in town for work.

Well-maintained, quiet park with locked gate access. Super pool with hot tub overlooking the lake. You will need to upgrade to faster wifi if you need to stream anything. We would stay there again.
The only reason I'm not giving 4 stars is due to reservation restrictions. They want you to buy travel insurance in order to cancel or change your reservation. We didn't buy this and needed only to change our days and were not going to allow except they had the wrong email address. It was a really nice resort with probably the nicest pool, outdoor area, and common areas we've ever seen! The pool was exceptional with waterfalls, fire feature, and partially submerged loungers. We watched TV many nights there with the leather couches, recliners, big screen tv, kitchen, and fireplace. My only complaint besides their reservation restriction is that there is no walk through gate at the back of the property to walk across the street to the lake and park.

New RV Resort in the Dallas, TX area. They spared no expense when building this new facility. Beautiful, 2 story pavilion has huge TV, leather theater couches, granite kitchen areas, full size pool table, shuffle board, vending, laundry with 20 high-tech dryers and washers, TV in the laundry room, business center for getting work done, gym, marble lined showers and bathrooms, all air conditioned, a pool and separate hot tub right out of a magazine with water effects, in pool loungers, waterfall... Craig the owner (have not met him yet) is obviously doing an excellent job, and Sheri the manager (I did meet her) is amazing, always around checking on everything, and her staff always have a smile and get you taken care of quickly. We camped at Lakeshore RV Resort in a Motorhome.

The pool was amazing for those hot days in Texas it's less than 5 feet in all areas. The pool area was the best, chairs you could slide into the pool area and sit and enjoy the water and sun! If you want to exercise while on vacation they have that too! The lounge area has several large TV's, pool table and large kitchen to prepare meals to use the two gas grilled that are kept clean and ready to use. It has everything you need outside your rig to enjoy your day! Can't wait to come back!
