The old portion of this campground is rundown and primarily full of very old RVs that have been in place for many years. The new section is under construction. We were assigned one of the few unfinished but usable new RV sites; not numbered, sewer pipes in place but not usable. We had access to electric and water only. Price was excessive for no sewer hookup, no wifi, and construction noise starting at 7AM. We were told we could dump our tanks behind the LaCrosse setting in the old section. Just remove the LaCrosse sewer and water line, dump our tanks, use water as necessary, and reconnect LaCrosse sewer and water. The new sites are close to each other. So close, that a person stepping out of their RV is adjacent to the sewer connection of the next RV. All RVs pull into a new site from the east. The campground owner did not alternated the direction for RVs entering each site such that each RV was headed in 180 degrees from the adjacent RV; i.e. door side of each RV would have faced each other rather than facing the sewer connection of the adjacent RV. Even when completed, this RV campground will not be of high quality due to the close proximity of RV sites, close proximity of sewer connection to entrance door(s) of a parked RV, very limited capacity swimming pool, unexciting minigolf, and general appearance of campground and older RV sites. Attached photos show: - the entrance, in the far background is the LaCrosse location for dumping. - better photo of the LaCrosse for dumping. - construction - incomplete construction at our assigned site - tire hazard adjacent to our assigned site - old, tired mini gold strewn with debris - small swimming pool appropriate for a dozen swimmers. The pool is a small pool appropriate for a home, not a RV park.
