Not fancy but nice in appearance and close to I-10. The staff also seemed nice at first. That is until I had trouble connecting to the WiFi. Apparently a lot of people have this problem because the guy in charge got real defensive in a hurry. First problem was that he had given the wrong instructions. A call to the ISP got that straightened out but it became obvious that the guy at the park knew absolutely NOTHING about how WiFi works. The real problem though was that he thought that he did.... Everything went down hill from there. I should probably point out that before I retired I was a systems engineer/systems admin for JPMorganChase in Tampa so I’ve had some experience in these matters (the user name is my wife).
They advertised free cable but neglected to mention that you had to buy their $100 digital box in order to use it.
Can’t say anything about restrooms as they are locked due to Covid. First I encountered this but OK, it’s understandable. My only real complaint is the guy’s attitude but I will never go back.

Nice place to stay. Stayed 2 weeks. Rain tends to make things a little messy but not the parks fault. Manager and assistant were very nice. Be prepared to pay cash no credit cards accepted is only draw back but there are plenty of places close by for supplies and atm's. Pads are a little narrow when pulling in but not a big deal. Wife and I have family close by so will stay here again. Bathrooms closed due to COVID-19 but I had everything I needed in my coach.
Avoid this RV Park. We arrived to find our large pull thru spot had been given to someone else. They put us in a very nasty area that had 10" mud ruts and numerous ant hills. We paid the same price for this as a concrete pad lot! The views out of our windows were horrible! Looked like a low, low, low class old trailer park! Good Sam should take this place off of their sight!!!!!
This was a good overnite stop. Easy in and easy out.
I have been staying at the Campground of the South since November 2016. The camp ground manager is a really nice fellow. Always asking me if there is anything I need. My camp spot is very nice. Cement pad with grass all around. On Fridays, we have a get together for coffee. You can meet some of the other folks staying at the campground. The campground is close to the 10 Freeway, but a small fan to even out the noise of the traffic is all you need. We are on City water which is a real plus.... Read More

Located just off I-10 north of Gulfport, MS, this is an average RV park except that the owner/manager is super nice and very welcoming. There are asphalt driveways and concrete site pads but many of the pads are a bit broken and cracked. We were there during a rainy period and there was a lot of standing water in the driveways. We had a long pull through site with full hookups, no patio or picnic table. The bathrooms are in rough shape and not very clean. The free WiFi did not work most of... Read More

If you are a light sleeper you may be bothered by the traffic noise from I-10 neaby. However, it was convenient for a brief stop and the price is right. We paid $24 per night with Good Sam discount.

Quiet little place. Needs some upgrades but staff very friendly
This RV park is best suited for an overnight stay or just a day or two. I stayed in a 30' travel trailer. The pull through slots are not bad and are level. The park is right next to the interstate. The traffic can be heard. It is only about 15 minutes from a casino and the beaches of the gulf coast. As far as amenities: Wi-fi which is slow as expected and showers. The showers need to have some work done. They have seen better days. Any entertainment is what you bring with you. Read More
