You cannot see the lake from the campground, the trees need to be cut so you have a view. The campground rents boats to use, but most of them are full of water and half sunk, tied to the dock. The dock needs repaired and the weeds are so grown up around it, you don't want to walk down there. There are abandoned campers hidden in the weeds that have been there for years. Nobody cuts the weeds anywhere in the campground, he does mow though. There are weeds growing up around all the boat trailers... Read More

Nobody cuts the weeds anywhere in the campground, he does mow though. There are weeds growing up around all the boat trailers scattered all over. The office/store is dark, dirty and dingy. It has a few things to sell but it's obvious they've been sitting there for quite some time. The bathrooms are decent but not cleaned everyday. There are no laundry facilities and a pop machine that doesn't work. Most of the sites are permanent, with huge decks that take up a lot of room. The permanent campers have a lot of stuff all around their sites which makes it look trashy. The people that fish, clean the fish at their sites and bury the fish guts behind the dumpster. The raccoons dig it up every night and scatter it all over and it stinks to high heaven. The driveway has potholes that need filled and the roads in the campground are washed out and need graded. Overall, they're not really concerned about fixing anything because the permanent campers pay the bills.
