We needed a stop in Rawlins for a single night to break up a long drive and picked the KOA. The park is right off the freeway, but we had very little noise from the traffic. The roads and sites are gravel and most of the sites are pull through. Our site was just long enough for us park and leave the car attached overnight. Each site has a small concrete pad with a table and privacy wall to help block some of the wind that is frequent in the area. We did not check out the restrooms or showers... Read More

We did not check out the restrooms or showers as we were only there a few hours. Staff during checkin was great. Their wifi worked fine and they had cable at each site. We will stay here again when in the area. See our full reviews and pictures at thegilliamsisland.

Spent two nights in this parks. The park is ok for overnight but I wouldn't want to have a long stay there. No grass for our pets. The people who manager it are very nice though.

Our site was almost perfectly level, the staff helpful and friendly and the bathrooms clean and reasonably spacious. There is little to recommend Rawlins as a destination and highway and local train noise was a bit of a detractor from our appeal rating. But the deer browsing on the small bushes as we dumped our tanks was a... Read More

If you need to stop in Rawlins, as we did, stop at the Walmart and get some earplugs if you are a light sleeper. A good value and a good choice for a stop for the night.
