We stayed at this campground and had a river site. It was a very nice area. The park is clean and Lois in the office was very nice and accommodating. Easy to get to, close to the highway and gas station nearby. Will definitely stay here again.
This could be a real nice park. We received a river front site, this site was at the end of the river front sites and was quite small. The site was fine while we were parked with our truck parked behind our trailer. The site was so short and close to the end we had to back up trailer to leave the park. The park was quiet and the river view was nice. What we did not like was the storage units ran by the park directly behind the river view sites. These storage units had people in them every day. They were more than storage units, people were working on trailers, 4x4's, and boats. These people had family, kids, and stray dogs running through the park and camp sites. We also encountered lots of dogs not on a leash, some made aggressive moves toward our dog. The camp did have a rule to keep all dogs on a leash but that did not help. Many people did not pick up their dog poop even though the park supplied bags and trash cans. We might stay here again, but if nothing changes this park would be off our list. We did not use the restrooms or laundry so we did not rate that area.

We chose River's Edge because of Good Sam's rating and the fact they had cable. We had been boondocking for 11 days and wanted to find out what was happening in the world. It seems that although our site and the other sites in our section had cable boxes, we did not have cable. Apparently those sites are reserved for long term guests. The facility is far from being a resort. It is a large gravel parking lot in the middle of an industrial park. Dura-line, the manufacturing facility next door,... Read More

The facility is far from being a resort. It is a large gravel parking lot in the middle of an industrial park. Dura-line, the manufacturing facility next door, operates 24 hours a day and the only time we did not hear the back-up alarm on their forklifts was during shift change. I realize that River's Edge cannot control what goes on next to it just as it cannot control the weather however, because they lied about having cable available AND the noise emanating from the plant, they do not deserve the high rating Good Sam's gives them.

Very friendly staff! Pull through site with full hook-ups, level site. A little off the freeway but easy to get to. Short trip into town for some necessities. Would stay here again. Highly recommend.
This was the first stop of our 10-day trip. The location was very easy to find, level sites and full-hookups. The location was along the river, which was nice, the only thing my kids had to say was that that section of the river "needed to be cleaned up a little." The rest of the campers were very kind and friendly, as were all of the employees and hosts. I would highly recommend this location if visiting the area...
We stayed at the Rivers Edge RV park for 4 days. Was warmly greeted and escorted to the site - a quick process. The location was excellent with its proximity to the interstate (far enough away so no road noise), to Casper (without being in the city), and the shops for stocking up (Walmart, PetSmart, Best Buy, etc.). The bathroom facilities, laundry and utilities were adequate. There is a train nearby but did not really bother us much. We liked having the 10x12 piece of turf, the river walk, large... Read More

The bathroom facilities, laundry and utilities were adequate. There is a train nearby but did not really bother us much. We liked having the 10x12 piece of turf, the river walk, large space to easily maneuver the rv, strong water pressure, good cellular service 4 bars Verizon and 3 bars T-Mobile), convenient dumpster locations, and dog stations. The longer term resident sites were decently maintained and did not have much clutter. Our site was in a location to not have Direct TV access (told when arrived) but the WiFi was inconsistent at best. And the site could have had some additional gravel as we were 2 degrees off when pulling in. But overall, a good place to stay and would stay here again.

We have stayed here before I don't know if they got a new owner or manager, but who ever was taking over the office was hardly ever there. Only a sign that said she was out in the park somewhere, but it was for hours at a time. Only one restroom was working, the alternate restroom had no hot water and was unusable. There was a power surge or outage every day and anyone with pets should be leary. They were not full by any means but they put RV's right next to each other instead of spread out... Read More

They were not full by any means but they put RV's right next to each other instead of spread out like they should have been. I attribute this to the manager and not caring or not knowing or paying attention to what she was doing.

Was ok for an overnight stay, staff was friendly but when we were setting outside girl on 4 wheeler came by spraying weed killer AND ABOUT CHOCKED US TO DEATH.
A new facility that is very nice and will be even better when the trees grow. Friendly staff, all stone pull through sites with astro-turf. We were surprised to see broken or no locks on the bathroom or shower stalls on such a new and well maintained shower house. Don't forget to put your awning in. We went to dinner and came back to a rip in the vinyl. We went to the local Home Depot for a strong tape and the clerk chuckled, "Wyoming weather". We really don't want to be too negative. Office people were very nice. "Rec room" is very small and doesn't offer much. Didn't use restrooms or laundry so can't comment. Sites are spacious. Cable does not have any network channels. So you need your satellite or over the air TV to get any local or national news. The real downside is; virtually not a blade of grass in site. Dusty and dirty and huge gravel trucks constantly passing directly through the side doesn't help. Don't agree with Good Sam rating.... Read More

Great place to stay along the North Platte River. Well maintained. Enjoyed Game Room and the benches along the river bank. Easy access to sites! Enjoyed our stay.
We were here a week. People accomodating, had what we needed, close to shopping, not far from freeway. That was all good, but do not get put at the end of park!! There is a business that starts at 6am across the way. They are constantly using a fork lift that beeps and even on saturday. Thursday they worked late into the evening.
Upon arriving the first thing we noticed was no shade at all! It is a new campground beautifully kept up and maintained but the trees are so tiny so no shade at all. And no swimming pool either. With the heat the pool would have been nice... they did have inside activities to do. Once again with this one Good Sam had just left and the same thing no 5 star because of no pool. The lady that runs it was super nice and I met lots of people in the laundromat. However there was only 4 washers and... Read More

The lady that runs it was super nice and I met lots of people in the laundromat. However there was only 4 washers and 4 dryers...so laundry was timely especially when people walk off and leave them full... now the lady that ran it offered to let a few ladies use hers because they were frequent there ... I met some super nice people that so it attracts a good crowd of people.

Very nice park! Clean and super staff! If you like gravel, this is the place for you. NO trees. The area does not lent itself to having grass but the sites have artificial grass which is ok. The facilities were very well kept. It has a very nice patio with grills, comfortable chairs, behind the checkin center. The North Platt River is accessible for viewing with a swing and picnic table along the waters edge. The west Wifi channel was very good and local antenna TV was fine.
The staff were friendly the facility and appeal were clean . The restrooms were spotless. This campground is on our MUST Stay list.
Very nice park! Clean and super staff! I would put this one up there with resort parks! WiFi is great, sites are spacious and the bathrooms are spotless! Would consider staying here long term if we were looking for a long term park. Again the manager and his mother do a super job of everything!
If you like gravel, this is the place for you. NO trees... Friendly staff. I would not stay there again
I think your RV Park is amazing. My mom likes this place so much that she wants to go here again. I like your RV park to, I think the astro turf is a great idea. I know you are nice too. I like the little view of the river. I hope I see you again.
This park was a pleasant surprise. The proprietors were some of the friendliest, most helpful people we have encountered in a park. The area does not lent itself to having grass but the sites have artificial grass which works great. The facilities were top notch. This was such a positive experience! Newer campground along the North Platte River. The place was emaculate! Hosts (mother and adult son) were so helpful and friendly! Laundry facilities were top notch, bath facilities were oversized and very clean. Common area included TV, pool table, foosball, and tables. Lending library - books and DVDs. Outdoor sand play area for children with swings and slide. Outdoor gas grills provided in patio area. Each site was gravel with secured artificial turf and picnic... Read More

We stayed at the River's Edge at the end of Feb. It was our first trip with our new 5th wheel, which we had just picked up in Casper. We called the Park a few days in advance and talked with a woman who was very friendly. When we got onsite, we met her and her son. Both were very helpful, got us to our pull through and helped us hook up. They checked on us a few times during our overnight stay and were absolutely wonderful! Been staying here for a couple of months each year over the last 4 years and it is the best option in Casper, Wyoming. The manager is very accommodating and we will continue to stay here in the future. In general Wyoming RV parks do not have the amenities that people are used to ( paved roads, concrete pads, pools, etc) however the ownership and management of this park are trying hard to improve the park and and last year expanded the number of sites. Easy on and off from I-25.
