Many of the beaches have weed overgrowth in water and on the beach. The table at our campsite 22j had benches on each side that didn't go so the way down the length of table. I almost fell down at night when I went to sit with no bench. Dangerous. If this is for wheelchairs you need to indicate that on top of table. And why both sides. Very dangerous. We love pirates cove but it seems to be lacking some maintenance on the beaches.
What a great location on the river! We enjoyed our stay here watching the sunrises and sunsets. We especially enjoyed the restaurant which had great food and service. We will definitely stay here again!
Not a good RV Park at all, unless you are n off road or boating enthusiast. Had site next to rive in nothing but sand, no wifi, and next to parties. Had us moved close to office for wifi, and site was much better. However still not up to par with other Good Sam Parks. Little to no maintenance is done in the RV section and it's very apparent. Area looks very unkempt and not a draw for RV'ers. Partiers , boater and off road maybe but not RV. The staff was very unfriendly. I tried to get a one night... Read More

I tried to get a one night refund or rain check cause we had a family issue and they just laughed, caught themselves and said they would check, never heard from them. One night there was enough for us and I will never frequent this RV Park again! Won't get a recommendation from me!!

This resort is a very nice river side resort on the Colorado River. We stayed out on the peninsula spots. These spots do back right up to the river. Even though we stayed in end of Nov, the water was warm enough to wade in. Over all the place is nicely maintained. There is a playground in the main area which works well for younger children (2+). The rest rooms are either port-a-johns on the peninsula or about what you'd see at most state or national parks. Nothing glorious but they were clean.... Read More

The spot we had was level, but it was dirt and sand. Each spot was very wide and had room and tables where you didn't feel like you were on top of your neighbors. Of note, the hook-ups in our area were all located on the extreme back of the spot.
Attractions are the river (especially in warmer weather) and driving out in the desert. Not much else around. We will be returning for spring break.

Stayed for 2 winters. Rates have increased beyond what a facility of this type supports. No WiFi. No WiFi. Sites are semi-private and right on the Colorado River. Heavy and loud traffic often interrupts the serenity of the river. Sand is nice, but if its windy, you may as well stay home.
stayed at site 24 which was on a peninsula of the Colorado River. only two sites on peninsula and the other was not occupied. porta john served as a bathroom if one was needed. no cable, but you are on the water with a private beach on each side of the campsite. friendly check in with no hassles .did not use facilities as many were not in use during our 2 day visit would definitely stay again.
