We stayed at Marina Bay for 2 months while my home was under construction. The place is so nice- much prettier than others around here. It was not trashy, and no rifraf around. Families and workers stay here and they were all so nice to me and my family. The pools were kept nice and clean, the bathrooms were just lovely too. We could fish in the bayou, drop our kayaks. The staff went above and beyond to help me. This was hands down the BEST place to stay. We will be visiting for weekend "staycations". Read More

We stayed at Marina Bay for two months this last winter and absolutely enjoyed every minute. The office staff friendly and accommodating, the grounds, facilities, buildings, bath houses all in pristine condition. Though the weather was cold and not conducive for swimming, all three pools were clean and inviting. The large level concrete pads were wonderful (especially with such wet weather) for using our slide out, had ample room for our vehicle, and plenty of room for our awning. We had sites in both the adult and main sections. There is also a family section. We found all units in the park to be in excellent condition including the extended stay and family units children were well behaved and everyone friendly. There are evening campfires by the bayou with a variety of birds and grazing long horn cattle across the way. We were able to ride our bikes with ease throughout the park, on the island and to nearby businesses, etc. Kemah Boardwalk and NASA within a few minutes commute Houston and Galveston within 30 minutes. We are planning to return for this next winter season and look forward to visiting with new-found friends. This is the perfect location!

Beautiful facility right on the water. 3 pools (one just for adults), fitness room, ice, grass, some shade, dog walk and cute outdoor tables. Office staff were nice and helpful. Let us trade spots to be closer to the water. Several restaurants in the area within walking distance. A little spend at $65 a night but would definitely stay here again.
We would give Marina Bay higher marks, but the WiFi was TERRIBLE!!! Also, the advertised heated pool was NOT heated. The staff was very helpful and friendly!
Roads and pads are good concrete. Plenty of room to maneuver your rig. A small picnic table is provided, but the ambiance is lacking for outdoor relaxing. Close to Houston Space Center, Galveston, resturants and shopping. You can ride your bike to the Kemah boardwalk, which makes a pleasant afternoon. Landry room is first-rate.
