Do you enjoy having your head bitten off when you have a question or wish to make a request to “park” staff? This MAY be the RV park for you. The sites are quite narrow and there are plenty of old rundown RVs on the property. The majority of the “ Riverfront” and “Creekside” spots are filled with monthly tenants. The sites are quite narrow and there are plenty of old rundown RVs on the property. The majority of the “ Riverfront” and “Creekside” spots are filled with monthly tenants. There is access to the beautiful Sandy River via one path. Unfortunately it’s littered with trash, beer cans, and water bottles.
The community center has been temporarily closed for years now, so you’ll have to wait until warm and dry weather to entertain guests outside of your rig.
To be fair, the location, laundry, public restroom, and shower facilities are quite nice.
The “park“ manager is very disagreeable. She appears to enjoy bullying tenants and guests. I was parked next door to the office, so I heard a lot. She gets very upset when you push back on her behavior and the unwritten rules she springs upon you.
I wouldn’t recommend this so-called “resort” to anyone.

We just stayed one night heading south from the Seattle area. Next time we would want to stay longer and explore interesting Troutdale.. This is a nice RV park just outside of Portland off I-84. We took Exit 16 per RV park recommendation and it was easy to find if you followed the website instructions closely. Map Quest wants you to take Exit 18 but would not trust that as easy, The park is right on the river with nice paved streets and paved parking pads which we like. Lots of green grass... Read More

Lots of green grass and good puppy walking areas. You can walk down to the river and the park is very close to downtown Troutdale restaurants and stuff to see. We would definitely stay here again if in Portland area for a while. (Did not use the restrooms)

his park sits right on the Sandy River,There is river access near the center of the park with a small sandy beach. I can't speak to the condition of any restrooms or the community center, as they were ope. n from 8am to 8pm. The resort itself looks to be largely occupied by full timers (not necessarily a bad thing....we are full timers!) Most sites were very neat and well kept. A few had the look of permanence....some in a good way, with beautiful flowers and veggie pot gardens. The park is... Read More

Our site was roomy enough for our 41 ft 5W and our truck, with a bit of room to spare. I would recommend booking one of the sites along the river if you have a bigger rig, as some of the sites in the middle rows would have been a bit tight.
The park is nothing fancy but it has enough going for it that I would stay here again if ever in the area.

Thank you for bailing us out. We had a truck problem but the manager found a spot for us and our traveling companions till the truck was fixed. Great park and people. Hope to visit again in the future.
Verizon service was good, didn't use the wifi. Cable consists of a box you had to hook to a single TV, and since all of our TVs are mounted flush to the walls, we didn't hook it up. Neighbors and host implied it might not work anyway. OTA had plenty of channels and was crystal clear. Our site had a nice tree, and was plenty long and wide enough, with a back patio facing a seasonal creek and some grass. All utilities worked fine, sewer was not threaded and at the very back of the site, causing minor... Read More

This rating is based on the Sandy Riverfront RV Resort customer service and not the actual park. Because of the poor customer service, we never got the stay in the park. We were on a summer vacation. I called Sandy Riverfront RV Resort to reserve a site. My call went to voicemail, and I left a message stating the desired dates and the specifics of our trailer. There was no call back that day, but the next morning, I missed a call from Sandy Riverfront. I returned the call as soon as I saw it, and... Read More

There was no call back that day, but the next morning, I missed a call from Sandy Riverfront. I returned the call as soon as I saw it, and again got their voicemail. I left a message stating that we definitely wanted the reservation. I also said we would be traveling that day and for much of the day we would be in areas with limited or no cell service. Later that day when we reached an area with cell service, I called and again got voicemail. I left another message asking for a call back to finalize the reservation. When I got a return call, the lady informed me that the sites had been taken and no more sites were available on our requested dates. I asked about my earlier call saying that we definitely wanted the reservation and that we would be without cell service while traveling that day. She replied that she called me back and when I didn't reply they gave the site to someone else. Fortunately, we were able to find a spot at another RV park a little further from where we were going. During our sight-seeing, we happened to drive past the park. It appears to be a nice park. If you decide to stay there, be aware that they do not answer their phone and only respond to voicemail. While waiting on their return call, be sure to stay in an area with cell service, and answer their call immediately.

Stay at this park any time I am traveling through the area. Off highway with periodic train noise. Sites are level cement with side accessible services. Park is clean and well maintained. Short walk down to river. Wifi and cable acceptable. Specify satellite accessible site as trees in some sites will block signal. Close to Troutdale mall and local area restaurants.
Very nice park located above the Sandy River. Office staff was courteous and helpful. DO NOT TAKE EXIT !8...your GPS will take you there but 17 is much much easier., so exit 17 and let your GPS reroute itself. Yes there are planes and trains but they weren't horrible....yes you hear them when you are outside once or twice a day, but we were closest to the tracks and didn't hear them at night when we were inside so no problems.
HINT: if you want to go into Portland, take the MAX blue train, for 5.00 you can get an all day pass and go all over the city!
Easy access to shopping and restaurants. We would definitely stay again.

small sites but easy to get in and out of. Friendly staff. Nice location to all local attractions..Would certainly stay here again. If you stay here, make sure you go to Tad's for chicken and dumplin's, its well worth it.
This place has seen it's day. The facilities are adequate but outdated. The cement pads are broken and crumbling. Many full timers with old rigs and junk and old furniture around them with home made staircases. Priced too high for this place. Nice location by the river. Too bad they're letting this place go downhill.
The streets are extremely narrow as are the sites making it very difficult for larger rigs to maneuver. The site was level and the park was clean. The main problem is the trains which run all night long. There are constant train whistles during the night as the tracks are very close by. We did not use the restrooms so cannot comment on that. The WiFi was OK.

Sandy Riverfront RV Resort office staff were courteous and helpful. The park has good paved roads, but they roads are slightly narrow so be cautious if you are driving a big rig coach with tow vehicle. The sites were level with very good shore power, good WiFi signal, but cable TV outlet on our site was disconnected. The bath/showerhouse is dated, but adequate and clean. I would stay at this park again.
Stayed one evening with a 30' travel trailer to explore Portland. Easy access to the site, beautifully located by the Sandy River (explore the park across from the Resort!). Amenities were decent. Unfortunately, the wifi connection didn't work during our stay (my girlfriend was not happy about that!).
