Called ahead weeks in advance and ask for reservations which I was told to come on in. They did not require a deposit and when we arrived we were warmly greeted and she had our names and checked us in. The sites are close but we were only an overnight guest which was fine for us, easy pull throughs. The only thing is signage from the highway, if you miss the street sign you will pass it but there is a good U turn street just past it. We will stay here again.

This park offers the basics for sites and services at a very reasonable price. The roads in the park are paved and the sites are gravel. The sites are a mix of back in and pull through and all are very close together. The park has a decent bathroom, shower and laundry area with a working wifi. The range of the wifi may not reach to all sites, but you can get on the wifi if you are close to either the office or the bathroom/shower building. The park is just off I-65 making it a convenient base to... Read More

Given the price and working wifi, we would have no problem staying here again. See our full updates, reviews and pictures at our blog at thegilliamsisland.

The main reason we stopped here is because it is one of only a couple places to stay close to Louisville, other than the VERY expensive KOA on the south side. Sites are extremely close together, no trees, lots of freeway noise, no pools or places for kids to play. Did not use the bathrooms. Very courteous folks that run the place. Would stay there again, mainly because of the cost.

A good place to stay overnight as you travel. Near freeway for quick access. Love's at other side of highway. Small park and outside it's perimeter is not very attractive, but don't let it deter you. Paved roads, crushed stone pads, very little grass. Big rig friendly though sites are close together. Ask for last row pull thru for easy exit. Prices are very fair and office people are very accommodating. Should be rated higher than it is.

Was convenient right off the highway . Stopped here in the middle of the night on our way from Pittsburgh to Texas. Man was friendly on the phone. Easy to find , site was level . Bathroom very clean but lacked privacy , just had a curtain a curtain for shower stall & very small . It served its purpose as a roadside Rv Park definitely would stay there again .

Our second time staying at this RV Park on our way north to MIichigan from Florida. Park is very near the highway, easy on, and off the highway. You need to drive past a parking lot that looks like it could be the entrance to the campground and go into the next driveway. It might be helpful if you asked the Campground Office for detailed directions as to where to turn. It is a rather easy driveway, just several driveways in the area so in the dark could be confusing. The Campground entrance is a short ways off of the road. Our lot was a pull thru and fairly level. First time we stayed in this Campground we took a day trip to Jim Beam. It is a good location for such a trip. About 1/3 of the spaces have long term units, there are large propane tanks next to them. Most of the long term units are in good condition. Did not use laundry facilities at this Campground.
