I was very disappointed with our 2 night stay at Marathon Motel & RV Park. We were told they had a 50 amp site for our Class A motorhome. Yep, it had a 50 amp plug, but it was not working. Oops, sorry about that we will have maintenance look at it tomorrow. We used the 30 amp service, but had to run our furnace to heat the RV. The next day we were off to Big Bend National Park for the day. Maintenance did come and attempt to repair the plug but did not complete the repair. They also did not... Read More

They also did not replug up our 30 amp service after they completed their work. We came back to dead batteries. Who designs an RV park and places your neighbors sewer right next to your picnic table. I would not recommend this RV park.

Nice park with flat sites but if you want some grass around your site go elsewhere. Then again there may not be any grass in this area of Texas. Internet was so-so, cable TV ok. The office is rather hard to find. Not much going on here but our goal was to visit Big Bend NP for a day. It's about an hour south.
