This was our first stop on our 2 week trip. I was a little nervous staying in the French Quarter but this RV park made us feel safe. It's a small, gated park with lots of security. It was nice to be able to walk to the heart of the French Quarter and tour around but it was really nice to retreat to the safety of the RV park in the evening. We were only able to stay one night but we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it. Of course, it's a little pricier than most RV parks but it was worth it.
This a vey nice and well kept facility! The staff are great and it is walking distance to French Quarter! BUT it is loud, the proximity is worth the noise though! For 1st timers to the area do not be alarmed by the outskirts of the park it seems very secure.
I first must admit that I had reservations staying at this location just because of it being practically down town, and proximity to the French Quarter, but I trusted my wife did her home work, and happy we stayed here. It's more like a compound being surrounded by a 10' wall with razor wire on top, Gated, and cameras on every corner, but I did feel secure at night. It is a short walk to the French Quarter, just be back before dark. Very nice & clean inside the compound, the pads are plenty big... Read More

Very nice & clean inside the compound, the pads are plenty big enough, all back-ins, nice pool, and an commercial size Ice Machine available at no cost. We stayed 3 nights, seen all that New Orleans has to offer, and had a great time. Must warn you as another reviewer noted, at night you will hear lots of sirens, some gunshots. loud music playing vehicles riding by the compound, outside or inside your RV, but fear not.

Stayed a week in April in site #1 in 35' Class A with toad. This park is amazing inside the walls. Keep in mind when you stay here you are in the middle of New Orleans. You will hear sirens, gunshots, traffic, vehicle accidents, etc if you are outside your rig. Inside your rig, inside the park walls with security guard on duty you are safe and cozy. The spaces are surprisingly large, very well manicured, excellent hook ups. Did not take advantage of other amenities. It is not a short walk... Read More

Top notch RV Park!!! Right in downtown New Orleans a 15 minute walk to Bourbon Street. We stayed there during Mardis Gras....front desk extremely helpful with guidance about parades and sights to see. security is no issue...inside a gated and walled area. Right beside Interstate 10 but sound was no problem. Sites were all back in but were extremely large...my motorhome is a 40 footer and had no issues getting in there.Definite recommend!!!.
The staff was very nice, the sites were well maintained with brick pavers and plenty big. The location is within a few blocks of the French Quarter which is convenient. But the location is also literally below highway Interstate 10 and in the middle of the RV park is a huge elevated double billboard sign. The noise level is off the charts with the traffic overhead. However if you are staying one or two nights, you couldn't get closer to the action.
Expensive but the only real choice in the area. The resort is in a great location and is secure so it is worth the money..
This is the most expensive RV Park that I have ever stayed at, but you get a lot for your money. First and foremost is the proximity to the French Quarter. It was about a 10 minute walk to get to the French Quarter. Check in was a breeze, the staff met me at the gate and provided my spot number. They asked me to come in and check in after I was settled in my spot. The check in was a quick review of the facility and then a discussion of all the places to visit in the French Quarter. The grounds are beautifully done. Each site has a large pad made of pavers that easily fit an RV and a vehicle along side. There is also a small patch of grass. Overall, there is not a lot of grass for dogs, but just outside the gate, there is a park with a large grass area. The restrooms are set up as suites. There are four and each one has a sink, toilet and shower. They are next to the pool and hot tub. There is also an ice machine outside (24 hour access) which is nice in the New Orleans heat.

Our first time there and we enjoyed our stay. Had our ten year old grandson with us and the staff was very willing to answer our questions and help our stay to be successful. We will be back again. Very clean and well managed. Right in the French Quarter.
Really a nice setup, however, the WiFi is really confined to the club house unless you have some sort of WiFi device that pulls signals in greater. Staff was not really friendly, just efficient. Other than that, I was attending a conference in NO and it worked really well for being where the action is. To say they are expensive--well, about the most expensive place I've ever stayed!
Again, you get what you pay for. This place is astronomically priced at $108, but given the options in New Orleans, worth the $. The cost keeps out the riff-raff (sorry, riff-raff. but I doubt you know who you are), and affords a true resort in the city. The place is not huge, but it is beautiful. Main building looks very NOLA, all brick and ironwork. The drives and spaces are all patterned brick, cobblestone and grass, lots of places for hot-paws to walk, large sites (I paced one pad at 48'), with double wide for your toad or all the set up you would like. They are all back in, so if you've not learned to back your rig yet, NOLA is not the place for you. Great hook ups (even those are pretty pedestals), ground level dump access (no walking that line. one of my peeves), the best cable I've encountered in all my travels, but no Wi-Fi except in the office. They had band-sucker issues and are working on a solution. They do have extra amenities like an ice machine, a lovely air conditioned Lobby, a very well equipped and beautiful computer room/office for guests, and beautiful screened gazebos in some of the sites. There is a lovely pool in a French Quarter type courtyard feel, with cascade jacuzzi and a very well equipped work out room, as well as a small laundry. The office is helpful and professional, booking tours and such, and called me when a package I had ordered was delivered. The main plus of this place is, of course, the location; which is what you're paying for. It is a very short walk to the Hop on Hop Off bus terminal (3 minutes; basically across a parking lot), which takes you all over the city. It is a very manageable walk (15 minutes) to downtown, Bourbon Street, the Garden District, or the river. Right outside the gate is an inner-city park with loads of grass and a nice walk, if you're comfortable with inner city parks. Caught a great basketball game with some of the local kids, and discovered the stable area right across the park where the city Carriage Horses are stabled! Neat to look in at all the carriages and get my pony fix. Reviews about the area are over dramatic. I would not walk it alone at night, no. But then, there are few unfamiliar places I would walk at night alone. This is, indeed, the perfect place to see New Orleans if you're an RV'er.

The employees of FFRV were friendly and gave us great tips of the Area. Location is great only 2 blocks from the French Quarter and 5 Blocks from Bourbon Street. All sites were very clean and very well taken care of. If we go back I will be staying there again. Very impressive.
As we drove in, a customer service rep walked to our Rv to give us site information. Beautiful facilities, less than a mile from bourbon street.
Office staff needs some hospitality and customer service training! We've stayed at this park several times over the years and have always enjoyed the park and it's proximity to the French Quarter. It's been about two years since our last visit and the office staff is definitely not as friendly as they used to be. We don't mind paying $100+ per night, but at that price I would expect a level of customer service more in line with a 5 star hotel. One of the ladies in the office was tending to her baby... One of the ladies in the office was tending to her baby while the other one checking us in didn't seem to care. This is a great park and a great location... I just wish the customer service was what it used to be years ago when we first started visiting.

The park was very nice and all the amenities were great. The only issue I had was one night when it started raining pretty bad and I took an Uber back to the park from Bourbon St., upon arriving at the park I noticed that the keypad in order to get in is on the fence and impossible to reach from within a vehicle, so I got soaked having to get out of the car and standing in the rain to enter the code. This seems like a design flaw, in my opinion, specially when it rains as often as it does there.... Read More

This is a clean convenient RV Park, BUT...no Internet inside your RV...and we had a tent trailer camped next to us , and it was not self contained. They also had 4 dogs in a pen outside their trailer. Every time someone walked by the dogs barked. Called the front desk and she said they have no limits on dogs or rules about trailers. Paying over $100.00 plus a night there should be some rules.
This is an excellent park in the French Quarter. We were a little concerned about walking after hours but used Uber and all went well. The girl at the front desk was a bit abrupt with us as we got there early and were told we would have to wait outside the gate. The people were still in our spot at check out time and it took them about 45 minutes to leave. Not really her fault but she could have been nicer about the problem.
Very well organized. Very secure. Easy to get tours set-up. Easy walk to French Quarter. 30 miles to Air Boat. Super clean. Great place to sit by pool and still get laundry done. Loved this place.
Great place to stay, close to French Quarter, great facilities. Internet was a little slow, and hard to get, signal strength weak. Also a little tricky to get to via google maps/apple maps. But overall a great place to stay!
Location Location Location the best in the area. Safe ,secure, clean , level with good power. However the staff seems not really interested in the customers. The grounds and equipment seem to be suffering from a lack of PM. At this level of price you would expect much a better level of service from the staff.
Just all the BEST you could expect! Perfect Facility, Perfect Staff, Perfect walk to FQ. We could not have asked for anything better!
A Little tricky to find because the GPS address is not the listed address but once inside the compound, we very much enjoyed our stay. It is a two block walk to the French Quarter which means no car needed and easy access to the great restaurants and shops. Campground is starting to show a bit of age but is still a very nice rv resort and the location cannot be beat !!
Great staff a little hard to find. Should have better directions online.
Very secure place, gated and guarded 24/7. For being in the city a very nice campground. Your not on top of your neighbors. Sites are spacious and level. Will definitely go back there.
