We made reservations telling them we had a 30' fifth wheel with 3 bump outs. The site are so narrow that we barely fit and even had to pull past the hookups to get one slide out all the way. Everyone we spoke to were complaining about the same thing. This might be ok for a one night with a pop up but not for much more. This is definitely NOT what I would expect for a Good Sam campground.
Making a reservation was ridiculous!! Only online reservations are accepted, I called and left a message for someone to return my call. 24 hours later, I am still waiting. The site we chose, appeared to be a pull thru, when we arrived, it is a back in. We found a pull thru and parked there. Probably will never camp here again!!!!!
The photo cell controlled light in front of the restrooms/ bath house were dead ( no lights at all). The street light in front of restrooms/bath house was out so the site was half dark. There were no light in the first 50 yards of the site locations. Finally the map on the booking site is upside down so it does not relate to what you see when you drive in. Site markings need to be repainted and more oblivious as to which site is which. This location could be a 10 with a little upkeep and maintenance.... Read More

Staff was super friendly and worked with us in making our reservation! (They had just started online camping reservations! yay!) As technology goes we had difficulties making the payment online but staff explained well how to navigate problem! Grounds are beautiful, clean, & quiet with TONS of space. Dog friendly walks throughout the whole grounds and even by the historical WWII bunkers that still stand. Right across the road are BRAND NEW pickle ball courts, grocery store, pharmacy, and a few... Besides traffic on highway there isnt any traffic and seems to be in the middle of a quiet farming community that is close enough to the city to be able to offer all the amenities of a big city but right on the outskirts of town so it feels safe and friendly
We will be back again!

Most "campers" are living there. You could tell by the large propane tanks outside. One trailer was leaning, with tons of water jugs and junk sitting all around it. The restrooms were horrible. Dirty, mold and chipped up paint in the showers. Old, dirty decorations in them as well. Laundry room was also ignored. Spider webs and dust. Will not return. Didn't see any employee when there.
The Fairgrounds on which it sits is nice with a lake beside the Park but the park itself is a poor set-up, sloping sites, loud trains at all hours and a scruffy lot.
Driving through the area and needed a place to spend the night. We called in to a friendly, helpful staff. Paid over the phone and pulled right to our pull through spot (35). Slot was quite level and was easy to get in/out. All hookups performed and functioned well. Will stay again. Thank you!
Staff was friendly and helpful. Train whistles every 90 minutes makes for difficult sleeping. Once set up on site (number given over phone) the check in office is 500 yards away. Bathrooms are not clean. This is an emergency stop campground. I will not be staying again.
We were there for a week and the restrooms/showers were never cleaned; nor was the trash removed. There are pull throughs, but no trees, just rocks. Though each individual site did have dump stations, they were about 1 foot above ground level; so ongoing dumping didn't work - had to use the general dump station when we left.
