I was traveling with two disabled seniors, which can be more challenging and results in late (after dark) arrivals (even though I keep making our driving time shorter..). Finding it in the dark was not a big deal (GPS). The grounds are spacious and accessible to those using a walker (at least the short term site we were using). The bathrooms were very clean and warm! There was a delay on the motion sensor which left me standing in the dark for a bit and would have been a bit of a problem for my... Read More

I wish I had the time to use the hot tub (after dark hours for use would have been nice). Love that it was so clean and well-organized! Some campers might want to have more vegetation around their sites, but this was great for our short term use.

This was our first ever RV campsite and all others will now have to measure up. The owners are very nice and the facility was extremely clean. Went back on our return trip, will be our regular stop going forward.
We recommend this campground highly. A clean, peaceful place to rest.
We pulled in at one minute after 5. They close at 5 so we had to pick a site. We had sufferd a tire failure on the way home and were tired and stressed form the tire blowing out all the aluminum siding on the side of our RV. We had planned on spending one night but we needed to replace the tire in the morning and clean up the trailor a little to keep going home. So we planned on spending one extra day. When they finally opened late in the morning they had no sympthy for our problem and told us we... Read More

I pointed out that the site we were on was the same as all the other ones but they didnt care. We got lucky and found a new tire got it mounted and left. The Tv picture rolled and was snowy on all stations. Wifi was so slow that it would of been quicker to mail a letter. The night that we were there it rained and our site was flooded in the morning as were most of the sites in the row we were in.

We have stayed at this park several times while traveling g along I 95. While at one time this was a first class resort, it is failing. None of the four times we have stayed here did the hot tub work. Always broken. This time the cable was not working. When I asked about it, the older man at the desk, who must be the owner, said that the cable hasn't worked here in twenty five years. Interesting, as there is a cable hook up at our lot and we have used it every visit. This campground is in need... Read More

This campground is in need of some general maintenance, and on future trips we will he staying somewhere else. Not here.

Had a wonderful time! The staff was phenomenal and welcoming (the two ladies that work the grounds just felt like family). The facilities were clean and up to date. Not a lot of wildlife or privacy but it made up for it in amenities. The grounds were well maintained. Only improvements would have been to the paving on the roads and the TV didn't work. Otherwise it was a 5 out of 5.
Great for overnight or longer stay. Very easy access from I 95. Big rig friendly and by big rig I mean a 43 ft diesel bus with a long wheel base. Clean, level sites, well graveled or concrete. It had been raining a LOT and although there were puddles beside the roads, even the gravel sites were well drained. The hot tub and the wonderfully nice and helpful staff were the icing on the cake! The lady who mans the office on Monday and Tuesday is an absolute treasure! Will definitely be back!
I called for 3 days, at different times and finally on 3rd someone answered. I spoke to a woman that helped me select a site. When we arrive there was me one in our site. The gentleman in the office was very rude and condensing. He told me no one reserves a site and pretty much accused me of lying. The park itself was fine for an overnight stop but We will never stay there again because of the rudeness and incompetence of the staff.
We have stayed at Carolina Crossroads before and then also only for one night. It's definitely an easy stay off of 95 and the staff that checked us in was friendly. Our site had a concrete pad and a little picnic table with an umbrella which was a nice feature. It was $45 for the one night which we thought was a little high but our site may've been a more costly one, we didn't pick it out ourselves, they do have ones just with gravel. We couldn't use their wifi, it did not work well for us at all,... We didn't use their restrooms or their cable, or their pool which looked nice. The dog park was a nice feature and our old fellas enjoyed it. A lot of big rigs there and didn't look like anyone had any problems maneuvering, mostly pull throughs, we didn't even have to unhook our tow trailer, site was level enough. My only complaint was a neighbor in a cabin left her dog unattended and it barked continually, and again we could've probably complained but she came back thankfully and the dog was happy and quiet. We were on D2 June 4, 2019.

Great place to stay overnight Accomodating staff Quiet and clean place
Cable tv not working for our whole row. The WiFi hooked up but wouldn't allow access to anywhere on the internet. Very poor.
Great stop over rv resort off I-95 near the North Carolina and Virginia border. Follow signs off the highway and you will easily find it. Pull through sites with choices of gravel or paved (more money). Cable tv but on gravel sites owner said they were working on it. Great wifi, very nice swimming pool and hot tub. Didn't check out the restrooms but I imagine they are nice as well. Only negative we saw was their putt putt golf was totally destroyed and unusable. No trees or shade but I guess that... Read More

While we only stayed on night while what was supposed be a trip to Fla my wife and I were very impressed with this CG. The office staff was very helpful when we checked in and listened to my explanation of the conversation I had over the phone with them several moths earlier when I was told I wouldn't need a reservation and they would have plenty of sites to choose from and filled my request for one near the dog park with one less than 100 feet away. Restroom was very clean and we saw them go... Read More

we had a problem with our coach's electric system that t first looked like on their end and had people there within 2 minutes to check it out They did their best to help me resolve the problem but it couldn't be till I got home This during a cold raining early evening.
The dog park was very nice and had it not been so cold and wet we would have let our kids play longer only the bench and seats were too wet for us to sit.
The site was very clean as was the rest of the CG Maybe they could use a few more trees at it is wide open but for this time of year it was fine.
Very easy acesss to and from I 95 with good signs directing you to there off of 95
The WiFi did connect but no internet service so my laptop was a no go but our phones all connected no problem
We will certainly keep this on our list of places to stop at for our next trip south

Great place to stay for a night. Nice level sites and the owners are vey nice and helpfull. Did not use restrooms.
Nice accommodations; close vicinity to 95.
Very friendly staff! The cleanest bathrooms you will ever find! The entire campground is well maintained. Great place to stay! Highly recommend it!
Carolina Crossroads entertainment complex was closed at this time. Just off highway - good pass through stop, although we would not stay longer. Concrete pads, most pull-throughs. Good facilities. Pool.
This park is very clean and close to amenities. Staff are friendly. The only negative is it has very little landscaping. If you need a quick stop over this is a great place to stay.
The facility is new and very clean and nice but the park itself was just a very flat field. It makes a great place for very large motorhomes and RV's because it is so open. It is a great place for a 1 night stop but I don't think I would stay longer.
Stayed here driving back from New England to Fla. Requested pull thru site was spacious. This is obviously an old flat cow pastured turned into a rather nice CG. Bathroom/showers very clean. All services worked as they should. ATT and Verizon signals strong for both data and voice. Although the pad and roads were high and dry, the grass surrounding the camp site was 2 inches deep with rain water. Where can it go on such a flat facility? Roads are paved in the front; gravel/crushed shell... Read More
