This is the worst campground I have ever stayed at in my entire life. The staff were very rude. The grounds are a complete mess - weeds growing everywhere, picnic tables in pieces, just laying on the ground. The spaces smell like sewage due to how unclean their sewer piping is. I cannot believe that Good Sam has them as a reliable RV spot - I won't trust the Good Sam name anymore, if this place makes the cut.
We reserved a pull through site and received an email the day before arriving with the specific site number we requested. When we checked in the person at the front indicated because of the construction of the tiny homes in the tent section, she could not give us our originally reserved site. I asked why we weren't notified of this before arriving and she said they tried to call the previous week. I told her I never received a phone call, did they leave a message. She wanted to give us a back in site which would have been inconvenient with the trailer we were towing. She finally gave us a pull through site and commented "no more complaining".
If this person is an employee, they need an extensive course in customer service. If they are management or the owner, her attitude was very unprofessional.
We only stayed in the rv section and did not use any of the facilities. But due to the unprofessional attitude, will never stay here again.

We came here to spend a couple of days with our friends and got the campsite across from them. It was a perfect fit for us, with a 35' motorhome and tow vehicle. Our site came with a picnic table and easy access to walking areas with our dogs. I can see that some may be put off by the strict rules (you have to wait to be escorted to your campsite), but it's a cute place and everyone was friendly. It's an easy drive to downtown Williams and Bearizona, and about 20 minutes south of the Grand Canyon. Read More

I WOULD HAVE GIVEN A LOWER RATING IF IT WAS POSSIBLE. This RV park is GOUGING RV campers. It was my misfortune to have had to stay at this park because of a mechanical breakdown of my vehicle. The expense for a 6 day stay was ridiculously high. None of the amenities at the park were functional. NO RESTROOMS. NO SHOWERS. NO ADJUSTMENTS WERE MADE OR SUGGESTED. I WOULD NEVER STAY AT THIS RV PARK AGAIN AND I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE.
We stayed 4 nights. The office staff was very nice and helpful upon check in. The sites were large (you could park two RVs side by side or leave what you were pulling attached to your RV) with picnic tables but consisted of dirt, weeds, and rocks. As others have said, someone was running the weed eater. There is a better way to handle weeds. It was extremely windy (not just a little windy) and there are few trees to provide any wind break. Because of the wind and dirt everywhere it was extremely dusty and those driving too fast didn't help. The sites are large enough that there is no logical reason not to have trees, especially in Northern Arizona where pine trees abound. When booking I did ask for a site with trees but was told there were none available. That was not true as there were sites open while we were there that had trees. I appreciate a park that allows all dogs with only one exception -- vicious ones. However, there was another camper who appeared to be camped out for quite a while with a pen outside for their 5 dogs, most were chihuahuas that barked incessantly for no reason -- and lucky us, our site was close to that site. They just threw the dogs outside with no supervision. That is a sign of a bad owner, not a bad dog. Others walked their dogs and none barked, not even at the 5 in the pen. The park should ban barking dogs as well. On the way out, we stopped in front of the office to advise the staff of an issue they might want to address but I was not allowed to go inside even though I said I would only be a few seconds, because I was told the Owner won't let anyone park in front of the office, not even for a few seconds. I was not blocking anyone, left the motor running and my husband in the truck in case we were in someone's way. I had no intention of driving to the parking lot and walking back to the office for a few seconds to assist the park. I can now see why others have indicated frustration with the staff being rude and unfriendly. We did visit other RV parks in the area on a windy day, and found they did not have the same wind or dust issues. When spending my money, I don't expect to be treated rudely by someone who can't figure out how and when to apply the rules. Due to Covid-19 we did not use the pool or restrooms although they were open, we also did not use the laundry. I note the staff was not wearing masks. The trash bins are small at the end of a row of sites, and the park states they do not want you to overfill them. There was a recycle bin. The cable was awful (few channels and out of focus), the wi-fi worked intermittently and was very slow, even though we were 20 feet from a tower and used a wi-fi extender. While we greatly appreciated the large sites and the views of the mountains, there was too much that could easily be fixed that was disappointing and frustrating. We will stay elsewhere if we visit the area again.

Only stayed one night while passing through. Nice clean park with polite employees. It was mostly empty. The sites were dirt, but large and with full hook ups and a picnic table, ours was a pull through. They a had a pool, laundry, and community fire pit, as well as a wooded area for dog walking. Would stay here again.
We are happy we found the Canyon Motel and RV Park. Location was good and staff were friendly and very helpful!! Sites were clean and not too close to one another. Dog Friendly too We will definitely stay again.
Nice quiet place! Enjoyed grounds.
We have rv camped there a few times, the spots are very spacious and the employees are always helpful and nice. The park is always clean and the bathroom\laundry area is nice and clean as well. Nicely located just on the outskirts of town and not to far from anything. We stayed in a cabin one time that quite pleasant, clean and everything you need. Again the employees there always make you feel very welcome.
Very friendly staff, Great location close to town of Williams. Cons: 1.) Not enough gravel to cut down on dust as some people do not slow down and drive 5 mph speed. 2.) Windy at this park, a factor of terrain and location near the mountains. 3.) my wife says the laundry is not air conditioned and expensive. 4.) Rates at this park are high, "Grand Canyon" tourist syndrome. Pros: 1.) Close to Williams, 2.) Friendly staff, 3.) Large pull-through's some what level sites. 4.) No problem setting up... Read More

I would stay here again, but be prepared for high rates.

Great staff and location
Great location for the Grand Canyon. Very friendly. Nice clean washrooms. Would definatly stay there again. Very close to town.
Great location when visiting the Grand Canyon and northern Arizona. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a beautiful view of the mountain area around us. Although there is no dog park, the dogs and I really enjoyed the surrounding National Forest. Location was great for a day trip to Winslow and petrified National Park, Sonoma, and the Grand Canyon.
Very nice park, the staff was very helpful with guiding us to local sights and services, the only problem we encountered was weather related, it gets into the 20's at night this time of year and you have to unhook the water each night, but that is a product of the elevation and climate. If you want to see the Grand Canyon ahead of the crowds this park is only about 50 minutes away and we would stay here again should we come back this way.
Decent campground. Nothing fancy but clean and quaint. We were traveling in late September 2017. We have a dog but we don't travel with children. The bath house has "private", unisex bathrooms and they were very clean. Private meaning there was a toilet, sink, and shower in each of the two bathrooms and there was another with just the toilet and sink. The laundry room is in the same building but we didn't use it so I can't rate it. Our site, which was one of the deluxe, pull through sites, was... Read More

Downtown Williams AZ is right up the street on historic Route 66 and has several restaurants and shops. It took us about 45 minutes to drive to the Grand Canyon, which was a straight shot from the campground. I would have given it 5 stars of it wasn't for the trains coming through blowing their horns. They didn't bother me at night, but I'm a very heavy sleeper.

The campground is very clean. The restrooms were clean and well taking care of. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Escort to site. We would stay there again,
1st Rate Facility, a real "Destination", clean and modern.
Clean sites with friendly and helpful staff. Easy access to the Grand Canyon and other attractions in the area.
We stayed here for a month. The sites are roomy enough, although they are on a slant so we couldn't use the picnic table. You're not allowed to unhook your tow vehicle in front of the office. They don't tell you that until after you start unhooking. When we checked in, we were told that they would inform us if there was going to be a frost. They didn't. They also didn't inform us when they worked on the water pipes throughout the campground. With no warning at all, they shut off the water. We thought... Read More

We thought it was just our site until we noticed everyone outside checking their water hoses. Beyond the water issue, you can't drive your car to the laundry. There is a parking area at the bottom of a hill in back of the laundry, but you'd have to haul your clothes up that hill. Fortunately our site was close to the laundry so it wasn't difficult for us, but I'd hate to be farther away and have to carry the laundry basket all the way over there. There are 4 washers ($2) and 4 dryers ($2.50). The bath/shower rooms are in the same building as the laundry. Bath/showers are large and clean. Laundry is clean but not very big.

This was a decent campground. Things that could have been better....most sites face west so you have the sun in your face, sites are very unlevel, the heated indoor pool was cold but it was muggy in the room (only one window that they would let us open so we couldn't get a breeze flowing- kids wouldn't go back due to bugs in pool and temp). Restrooms were clean. Williams is a neat little town to walk around in. Bearizona is very close and was surprisingly worth the money. Not too far of a drive... Read More

Awesome place just outside of town, 45 minutes to the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. Awesome restaurants in town, Rods Steakhouse, Pine Country, and Smokeys.
Nice place located only 1 hour from the Grand Canyon and right near historic town of Williams. Beautiful scenery would stay here again. Sites are totally level which makes it a little difficult. We have a 44 ft fiver and had no trouble getting in and out of the park. We did pay extra for a Premium site which provided us with some shade trees other sites do not provide any shade.
Nice park with a nice personality and a good view from the higher Eastern spots. Friendly and helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again. We drove by the other RV parks in Williams and this one has the best layout with plenty of space between spots
Stayed here 3 days. Very nice especially with the forest land next to the facility. Sites are spread out and easy to get into and out of. Will definitely stay here again.
Coming from New Mexico we planned on staying here because it's close to Grand Canyon (53 miles). Hit a blizzard and came into the park while it was snowing heavily. Park has very interesting rail cars you can rent. Bathrooms were very clean. Staff helpful and gave us recommendations for eateries. I'll stay here again.
A nice campground where you don't feel like you're on top of your neighbors. The site are more than adequate for a long rig which is a huge plus when you're hauling a 40' FW. A very pleasant and peaceful experience. We did not use any of the facilities so could not add any ratings.
