Poor communication from front office. Office manned 2 hours a day, if that. Contact phone number is voice mail only. Welcome text and email mentioned to locate an envelope with site number and info. But not where that envelope would be. Office locked and no camp host or employees in the park. We had to pick a spot ourselves with no other opition (we were already per paid). Very strange. Sites are large blacktop, but the grounds themselves needed maintenance. Weeds and the grass haven't been... Read More

They were cleaned on the third day by a person hired for one day only to do the job.

When we arrived, it looked like this place has been abandoned. The entrance before entering the park has pot holes the size of kids wading pools and it was BRUTAL to get our motorhome through without bottoming out. The the grass/weeds were up to your shins, the garbage bins were overflowing and garbage everywhere, no one is in the office and they don’t return phone calls, there’s homeless walking all along the trail beside the property. It just… was beyond disappointing. We locked all our cabinets... Read More

Sites:
Sites are extremely narrow and paved.
Trees at some sites interfere with the RV on one or both sides.
Location:
The location is convenient and along a frequently used paved bike/pedestrian path. However, the campsite is not fenced in and not secured with gated access. We kept all camp equipment locked up.
Homeless would frequently walk through the campground.
Rates and Specials:
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE insure you have your discount specials applied to your reservation BEFORE you arrive or they will NOT be applied! (We wanted to apply our Good Sam. We were also eligible with Veteran and AAA)
Our experience:
We arrived about 4:15, called the phone number on the office door, given a code to the laundry room to pick up an envelope with our reservation. ((Amongst the flurry of checkin, my husband forgot to give our Good Sam membership number and the receptionist never asked, unhooked, backed up (we could've never made the hairpin turn into our site on the map given to us), and made our way to our site. We didn't want to block other arriving campers)) We had a 6 night stay. The office was never open when we went by. When it was open, we inquired about adding our Good Sam membership (members since 2017), we were told "too late." We called a few times, #politeandprofessional to request a refund. We were told the Manager would call us back. We had followup calls and the Receptionist again advised she or the Manager would call us back. As of October 25 no call back.
* Other Good Sam parks actively promote Good Sam membership at checkin!

Great RV Park on the North end of Eureka. Sites are blacktop pull throughs with grass dividers between spots. Hook-ups very accessible. Strong WiFi worked well. TV Cable had lots of channels. Target shopping right across the street with grocery. Park is right next to the Waterfront Walkway that goes right next to the water clear into Eureka. Many people are walking their dogs and riding bikes on the trail. We walked on clear days. Laundry was clean and open. Restrooms were kept very clean.... Read More

We don't travel with animals but many people here in the park had dogs but we were not bothered by them. Lots of place to walk them right next to the park. I would definitely stay here again.

Easy on and off the Freeway. Next door to the Harley Davidson store, if your so inclined. Easy check in. Nice, wide site. We had a pull through. Nice view of river. Only downside was the unfenced back road that transients walked up and down a lot. A bit of not so nice area. Park was great, other campers were nice also. Just kind of looked out for each other"s stuff. Would come back if in the area.
nice stop, would stay here again. Convenient to all the local things to see and do
Although not a "destination park" with lots of activities, pool, etc., Shoreline is easily accessible, and within an easy drive of local attractions. It features clean restrooms and laundry, new picnic tables, asphalt pads surrounded by grass and small trees, and great 50A service. The locations of the hookups and protective posts make rig placement on the pad a bit tricky, but the drive-through sites are LONG, so there were options. All staff we met were flexible, friendly and helpful. Considering... Read More

They were generous with finding a discount to fit our situation and memberships. (And the pictures do not do it justice.)

Great overnight park! The manager was really helpful, especially with area info. Would return.
