They have obviously done a lot of work and the park is looking great. For the short-term spaces, all interior roads save for about 30 feet near the entrance are now paved with fresh asphalt. Sites are concrete which also looks new (no cracks or weeds). Property slopes slightly toward the water and the spaces are laid out on the fall line, so the spaces are side-to-side level and aren't "twisted." Lots are neither cramped nor particularly spacious, let's just say there's decent room between rigs.... Read More

The exit lane looks tighter than it is, we had no trouble with our 40-foot MH towing but you need to pay attention on the departure leg.
Landscaping is nice and the water is very nice. There's lots of vegetation in the water so presently not awesome for swimming, but it's clear, spring fed, great for kayaking and should be decent for fishing. I didn't see any gators, but if I was a gator, that's where I'd be, so be advised.
Staff is super nice.
Siri has no idea where this place is. You exit the interstate on 71, turn left on 90, and the park is a couple hundred yards down on your RIGHT with easy in/out. One of the easier parks in the Panhandle to access from 10. Plenty of services on the road in and a restaurant on property (which we did not visit)
If you travel through the Panhandle frequently, you know there aren't many places to stop and many are "problematic." This place is definitely on our "approved list," in fact we like it a lot. Will definitely come back.

I am not sure how the Bathrooms got a 10* rating. There was only one shower and three toilet stalls. one for the women and one for the men. The other building was locked and not in use. People were standing outside waiting for a shower. A man saw me walking towards the bathhouse and jumped into the ladies and locked the whole bathhouse door. People were so frustrated they walked away. If you wish to use the facilities make sure you wake up at 5 am. The grounds and site we had was grass and a mess... Read More

I stepped in a hole and jarred my back and hip. Grass is not cut around campsites where full timers are parked. The grandchildren enjoyed the fishing dock and it is well maintained. We left a day early because we could not put up with all the above conditions and we have never done that before.

Location is close to the Interstate 10 and a good stopping point if heading further south. Staff were all pleasant and welcoming. 1 lead (I arrived after dark) and offered assistance in getting me into my spot. Park has had very recent renovations and investment in the property. NICE bathrooms, swimming pool, small fitness room, and clubhouse. Wide lot spaces and room to maneuver big rigs around the park. Wifi is not the best even though they reported they just did upgrades. (I was in a spot within 50' and direct sight of a Wifi antenna. I suspect it may need a bit more fine tuning) Lastly, most all sights, pathways, and roads are sand/gravel are fairly level with grass in between. There are a few brand new concrete pads on a section near the water. Looks like more more are planned for the future. No cable TV. Cable wire was ran to the sight I was in. Again, looks like something possibly coming in the future. I would stay here again in the future.

POTHOLE CITY!!!!! Our Motorhome was covered in mud by the time we got to our site. They told us we would get a premium site, we got there late and got a different site. Definitely not worth $60 bucks.
The Staff was Wonderful, The Park was clean, We give it 2 thumbs up!
We recently stayed while traveling through Florida. It is easy to access from I-10 although GPS can be misleading, and may try to take you past the entrance. This park is rebuilding after being destroyed by Hurricane Michael in October 2018. The current owner had just purchased the park days before the hurricane struck and has been working diligently to rebuild it. This park is rebuilding after being destroyed by Hurricane Michael in October 2018. The current owner had just purchased the park days before the hurricane struck and has been working diligently to rebuild it. There are currently 9 premium sites available which consist of long concrete pull-through pads, 50/30/20 amp on new electrical pedestals, awesome water pressure and new sewer hookups which overlook a beautiful natural spring. They have also installed fresh grass sod between these sites as well as some of the other regular sites (crushed gravel instead of concrete, older electrical boxes, etc). Some sites are simply grass and sand, most are fairly level but not all. The office, clubhouse, laundry and exercise rooms are all new. Currently there is only OTA TV channels (about a dozen) but cable TV and high-speed internet are reportedly in the works. The staff here have all been extremely friendly and helpful. It will be interesting to see just how much this park will improve over the next 12 months during its transformation into a true RV resort.

Clean and well maintained - enjoyed my stay - stayed a couple more days.
This is a nice RV park and for just acquiring it in 2018 they are working to make this a nice resort. The clubhouse is like new and the ladies at registration were very accommodating. I am sure as time goes on they will be improving the sites. The location is easy to access from I-10. We had a nice meal at the onsite restaurant "Up the Creek Cafe" and received great service.
My family and I stayed here for Memorial Day weekend. We are locals and have heard a lot of bad things about the new owners but decided to see for ourselves. The younger dark haired girl in the office can't remember her name was pushy and rude. She has absolutely no people skills and needs to be retrained. The blonde lady down by the boat ramp was very nice and friendly. We didn't try the restaurant while we were there but did purchase a few supplies in the store. The clerk was nice and greeted... The clerk was nice and greeted us with a smile and hello. The price of $45 a night for what you get is too high in my opinion, no WiFi, no cable and not enough showers for guests. The pool has cracks and what looked like mold in it. The sites aren't level and most needed to be mowed and cleaned up. Next time we will pass on this place. They have a long way to go before this place should be called a resort.
