Campsites are very close to the road & it's very noisy. Cable didn't work at all. Got cable box and hooked it up...every station said 'not authorized'. When we returned the box to the office they said that people have been reporting this problem recently.

Great place to be for the winter. Level sites on Concrete pads. Owners are great and really try to make your stay great. Facilities are very nice - Clean restrooms and laundry. 3.5 miles to the beach and minutes from stores. There were nice restaurants within walking distance. Great park and bike trail starts about 3 miles from Florida Pines. Will definitely be back when we return to the area.

This park is extremely clean and well kept along with clean restrooms and laundry facilities on site. ?? The concrete parking pads are super to park on and we really enjoy our large concrete patio (my husband's "outside" man cave.) This park has the best rates in the area. Yes, periodically we hear "traffic"; but the five close beaches plus convenient shopping & eating make this the "perfect location" for us. In fact, this park is such a perfect fit for us, we purchased a mobile home in the park.

Beautiful, well maintained park with easy access to area attractions, restaurants and beaches. The owners/managers couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Yes, there is traffic but the noise level is no greater than at the average KOA. Inside the camper it is barely noticeable. My wife is an insomniac and very light sleeper and has had no problems sleeping though the night once she gets to sleep. For the area the rates are among the very lowest and the grounds among the very best!

I don't believe the road noise was this bad 2 years ago. This attractive, well maintained park is near the junction of Rt. 41 and 776 in South Venice. The RV sites are right along Rt. 776/ Englewood road. Rt. 776 is a wide open 6 lane road. The traffic noise is really loud, anywhere from 65 to 92 decibels. The noise starts early in the morning at 5:15 a.m. with the Waste Management trucks driving to their selective routes and continues during the day with regular traffic. The fire department has a station just 2 blocks to the South and they can really wind it up on their way to an emergency. After 2 weeks of this noisy stay, we informed the management we would be leaving early on December 1st. Our notice was not within their notification rules and we forfeited our December payment. Unless you like loud traffic noise, consider staying elsewhere.
