Perfect for an overnight stay on our way south. I don't know that I'd want to stay any longer. Definitely not a destination. There are a lot of level pull-throughs. It was nice not to have to disconnect the toad. The wifi was good. We didn't get to experience any of the other amenities because the owners have closed pretty much everything due to COVID. It sure would have been nice to go for a swim!
What a lucky find this was. During this time of the pandemic, we are working our way home from GA and stayed here for one night. Their reservation and check in process were spot on under the circumstances, by taking our credit card number by phone and having our reservation information ready for us to pick up outside the office. We simply held up the site number from our paperwork and a young lady on a golf cart escorted to our site. Well done RVacation! The sites are big and the setting is... Read More

Only downside is the I-95 noise but honestly, it didn't bother us a bit!

This would be a very nice campground except for the noise from Rt. 95. It is really loud!
Management is the worst of any park I ever stayed at. They follow your vehicle to make sure you do not go over 8 mph or touch the grass. Owners daughter slammed my car mirror and tried to open my door as I was going to my motorhome. My grandson came to visit and they followed him on a golf cart because they said he as in the age that speeds in the park. Management said if I posted a negative review they would tie me up in court with a lawsuit. Not a good camping experience.
We only stayed 2 nights, had I known how nice it was, I would have stayed longer. Wonderful sites, staff is very courteous and professional. I will absolutely stay there again !!
We stayed for the entire month of October. The staff are professional and there is an on site repair man for those things you can't do yourself. The sites are large and some are shaded and there's evidence of on going expansion in the back lots. There's a winery a couple miles down the road and plenty of shopping including a short drive to the outlet malls in Smithfield (15 minutes?). My wife didn't think the water in the womens shower were hot enough, but other than that no complaints about... Read More

My wife didn't think the water in the womens shower were hot enough, but other than that no complaints about the services at all.
It's very close to Exit 98 off I95 and I read some complaints from others about traffic and train noise since the campground is so close to the highway, but the trains made us feel at home and the traffic is easily ignored.
We arrived one day in advance of our reservation, so sites were all full and they made arrangements for us to have electricity the first night until our site opened.
It fills up quickly late in the week with travelers stopping for the night or weekend so i'd recommend calling ahead.
We have family in this area we visited and they were all impressed with the neighborhood demeanor of the grounds. It will become a regular stop when we are passing through this area.

site OK but too much noisy ....
We have stayed here before and will stay again when we pass this way. The previous comments about traffic noise are true, but the location couldn't be better.. right off of I-95. Overnighter's are up front and the long term camper's toward the back, away from the road. Pull thru FHU campsite was very level on course gravel. All services worked as they should. Access roads and main roads are paved. Office staff is excellent. ATT and Verizon voice and data service are excellent.
We stayed a couple weeks. Park grass is well cut, Locale TV reception is very good , staff is very nice but Staff has a pet, which they do not leash or clean up after because its allowed to roam. RV sites do need work, which are gravel and after rain, lots of standing water at each site. WIFI is very very slow and with the close proximity to 95 it's very noisy. Its a nice park if you don't mind the noise and not bad for the money.
I found the people friendly and helpful. the only problem I had was the shower facility... I had to stand in the spray to adjust the water temp and the spray shoots toward whatever you brought into the changing area.. the whole shower area is very small. they have propane on site and it is very reasonable.
Great place to stay with newly paved roads. Easy in and out. Just needs more laundry equipment.
Way too overpriced! The landlord is the worst I ever dealt with! He is constantly at your door over every little thing. A lot of ridiculous rules! I've stayed at a lot of campgrounds. I would not stay there again.
Very clean, very nice people.
