This was the first stop on a cross country trip to California. We stopped at this location based on the miles we had to drive and the time of day. This is a decent place for an overnight stay but that is about it. The only places close enough to walk to are fast food and a fuel station. The proprietors were very nice though we had to pay through a window. No camp store. The restrooms were lousy. Dark and older, insects were present. Once again, not bad for a quick overnight but you have... Read More

This campground is very basic. Our site did have asphalt to park the RV on. There's supposed be wifi but it is too weak and doesn't work- can't connect. There's no place to park except on the grass in your spot. We didn't use the restroom so can't rate that. Lots of permanent rv's.

Nice campground. Quiet. Easy walk to a convenience store. The people are super nice. The bathrooms need updating. I wouldn't shower there. However, there was soap and paper towels at the sinks and it was clean. My only complaint about the stay was the guy who started mowing at 7:30 in the morning. They could have started a little later.

We were quickly checked in and given our site assignment - a pull-thru near the front of the park. Due to the difficulty of getting to the site (need to back up and make a sharp into the row and another sharp turn to the left) we requested a different site which was assigned. We plugged in our surge protector and it read 'Open ground' so we refused that site as well (stating our reason)and were given the adjoining site. The campground seems to be the home for many long term residents as well... Read More

The campground seems to be the home for many long term residents as well as short terms. The restrooms were adequate but needed a thorough cleaning. During our 3 night stay, the trash was emptied once, restocking of supplies was apparently done once, and it did not appear to be cleaned during that time. The roads are marked with direction arrows that few campers seem to follow. They are paved and in fair condition. There was not much noise from the interstate despite its proximity. The campground is apparently under relatively new ownership. This camper does not feel the campground is currently deserving of its Good Sam rating. Suggestion: in traveling around the area, do not rely on your GPS. It tries to take you onto streets that were closed or non-existent. We would not stay again.

Stopped here on the way to Florida, in mid-February and on our return at the end of February. Open year-round. Had a few sites with water (heat tape and insulated) but we didn't need that. Excellent after hours check in process. Easy access and nice easy pull throughs. Just picked one in the 24-29 range parked, slept and paid at 7 am at the office. We prepaid over the phone on 2/10/17. Then, we paid for the return night when we got there on 2/15. Not many amenities. Has laundry room. Despite... Read More

Most seasonal sites were in the back. We had no problem with our 25' class C and toad car, getting level on the gravel sites. Did not need to disconnect the toad for one night. Wi-Fi was a good strong signal. Over The Air HD-TV was good for one night. Just 1/2 mile down the road east of I-75 are all the restaurants and shopping. Hardee's and Applebee's within walking distance of the campground. We would stay here, again.
