1st of all, this is not a 10/10/10 rated CG. It is a good location to Lake George and LG Village. The CG is well maintained ground wise though peering into the laundry and bathroom areas, they could use attention. The sites are gravel, not paved though level. Can't speak to the WiFi as we carry our own router. Cable is adequate. Most distressing for us was allowing aggressive dog breeds and sickening political flags that have no place, i.e. "Lets Go Brandon"....sickening! This is not a RV Resort......7/7/7... Read More

We had a site on the river and it was beautiful! I saw other reviews that mentioned the sites being close together- while the sites are on the close side we had enough room to feel comfortable --put out our awning, set up our screened in Pop-Up tent & sit around the fire. The park does seem to be under some construction, they are building a new Pool Pavillion, which maybe means they will invest more into the pool area?? If this Campground had a nice pool area with a bigger pool or multiple pools,... Read More

The park does seem to be under some construction, they are building a new Pool Pavillion, which maybe means they will invest more into the pool area?? If this Campground had a nice pool area with a bigger pool or multiple pools, it would be amazing!! The current pool is very small. The new Pavillion will probably also allow for more activities.
BUT again the river is amazing, my kids really enjoyed fishing & floating in the river.
The river is the attraction at this Campground that provides hours of entertainment.
If you are looking for a resort campground with lots of amenities this may not be the campground for you, but if you want a clean beautiful spot on a beautiful river convenient to Bolton's Landing & Lake George Village you will love it here!! We loved it and cannot wait to return.
Pros: The beautiful river,
Clean & well maintained,
Nice Game Pavillion,
Nice camp store,
New Pool Pavillion being built.
Cons: sites a little close together, but still comfortable.
Laundry area could use updating, but adequate and got the job done.
Pool is very small

The bathrooms were very dirty and unsanitary, not cleaned once during our weeks stay. The pool wasn't vacuumed or cleaned daily. Overall, very disappointed with the campground
The worst campground I have ever stayed at. Drinking and horse play around the pool and staff drove by in golf cart and did nothing. Bathroom extremely dirty every time I went in. WiFi extremely slow. No water pressure. Very surprised being a high rated Good Sam park. Will not recommend to anyone and will not be back.
Arrived at campsite at 2PM with reservations for campsite #50. Upon arrival given campsite #52. No real difference between sites at this campground other than #52 was the only site we found with huge mud puddle in the middle of camping area.
